Free throws. Suns shot 87% (can't do much better than that) to the Spurs 47%. If the Spurs shoot 75% from the free throw line, this series is over.

Game 5 is going to be interesting as to which PHX team (renewed confidence) comes out and to which SA (pissed that a chance to close out series) team comes out.
If the Suns had gotten 12 offensive rebounds, the game would have been over. If the refs weren't so bad the game would have been over. If Joe Johnson wasn't injured the Suns would have swept the Spurs. There are so many ifs, but the key thing is none of them happened. Also I'm referring to all sports not just this game or series.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah, the Free Throws are not as important a factor as the offensive rebounds given up are, because the Spurs are typically a poor FT shooting team anyway, while the Suns are usually good at defensive rebounding.

You must be predicting a Suns to win this series then.... If they could sweep they should be able to win 4 games to win the series.

I'm embarassed to be a Suns fan around these parts. Man, the Suns won ONE game and there is all this craziness in here. Settle down for a bit...let 'em win another game or two, then start getting excited. The Spurs are way too good to let the Suns run all over them again.

And the guy who said that the free throws were the biggest difference in the game...uhh...no. The Suns only made a couple more over the whole game...the Spurs went to the line quite a bit more (mostly because of flopping euro trash players). Did you see how many offensive rebounds the Spurs got. If the Suns hit the boards, the Spurs get blown out. They had like 30 second chance points. That's why it was even close...Free Throws would have been irrelevant.

You guys need to calm down. I was only joking to add emphasis to my point. For the record I think the Spurs are a better team and I think I have mentioned it before. The Suns have one of the best offenses but they can't make stops when they need to. Again I was just joking about Joe Johnson making that big of a difference because I was trying to emphasis my points that you can say a lot of if this happened than ... but those didn't actually happen.

The guy is the biggest POS in the league. I threw my hands in the air when Ginobili got his *** TOSSED to the floor. F that guy.
I hate that guy too. That flop he did after he tried to grab amare and got knocked down pissed me off. I can't believe he actually tried to fall to the ground after he grabbed amare. I really wish that amare would've slapped him or something that guy is just annoying as hell.

Alright Pistons...time to show that championship poise and make sure this isn't the last game at the Palace this year.

Why can't you guys quit paying attention to the flops and actually concentrate on his great style of play. You're really missing out. There are very few players that are as exciting to watch as Gino. His moves are just so effortless, and he makes the acrobatic shots as well as anyone. Fine he may flop, but, as Bball said, so do many of the NBA players. If you guys think he's the only one who flops, you're way over yourselves...

It's kinda hard to not notice it since he does it just about every time he shoots. I don't like watching him run into people and fall down all the time. Nobody said that he's the only one who flops but he does it much more than normal players.

What is up with Detroit and this one on one basketball they're playin? I mean this is pissin me off. Against LA last year, they excelled at playin TEAM basketball, stayin within the offense. Against Miami its like every player has their own agenda. They have to get back into that focus they had when they dominated the Lakers. Where's the picks with Shaq havin to come out and guard the ball handler? Rip hasn't been nearly as aggresive comin off the picks and runnin Miami's defenders around.

They look like their improvin' in this game but if they don't get back into the style of play that they have excelled at, I'm afraid Miami may win this series.

                            - Free Throw shootin has been killer for both teams
                            - Arroyo has to become more of a factor off the bench
                            - IMO, Lindsey Hunter should start the game off on Wade and bring one the guards off the bench sort of like what Pop did with Manu at first.
