Yeah our problem is we turn it on too early. No just kidding. However the Suns really start to get tired midway through the 4th which can be credited to San Antonio but also to our lack of bench. San Antonio played well when they had to so they deserve some credit. I hope Joe Johnson is able to come back soon to give us a spark off the bench as it is literally 8 on 6. Of course that is our fault for not acquiring more bench (I'm not compaining). However I'm pleased for the Suns because they played hard and maybe if a few breaks went their way the game might have been different (not trying to complain here either).
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Good win for the Spurs tonight. I thought Pho had it at one point. I really wish that the Suns would win this series, but it doesn't seem like it. Ya never know tho. The Rockets did lose to the Mavs after winning the first two games in their series on the road.

I think these next 3 days off are going to do wonders for the Suns. They haven't really had a break since their first series. They will come out gunning even harder in game 3. Hopefully Joe Johnson will be back too.

On the Spurs side, damn they're scarry. They have a great balance to that team. Everyone knows thier roles and they play them well. Ginobili is damn entertaining to watch. His behind the back dribble drive reverse layups are awesome. And Rob Horry. What can I say. . that's what he does. He lives for these playoff moments. It's weird. He is one player who consistently turns it up for the postseason.

Anyhow, I hope this series goes the distance. It's kinda fun seeing the Spurs putting up 110+ points each game.

It still impresses the heck outta' me that the Suns have gotten this far with so little depth and no true big man. Add those two things and defense or no defense, this team would be scary (edit..make that scary-er )

As it is, I'm expecting SA in 5.

So far, without Joe Johnson....with Quentin Richardson pretty much being out of the game (guy hasnt been doing CRAP), and with the Matrix doing jack..add to the fact that the referees have been terrible (no denying it, I dont care), and I cant believe that we've lost the two games by only seven, and then three. Amazing.

I just wish Johnson was back. Thats first and foremost.

My ideal lineup against the Spurs is to start Hunter, Amare, Marion, Johnson, and Nash. I want Quentin and Jimmy J off the bench. If we ran that lineup, it'd help our depth greatly. We'd then have Quentin, Jimmy, Barbosa (who needs to step up), and McCarty off the bench. There's 9 guys right there. Thats all we need.

I want the big lineup that can run to start out the game, so we can impose some sort of presence out there, THEN turn to the bench for firepower....since we seemingly start playing in the second quarter anyway.

Yeah thats a good idea. I think that Hunter should start because he does give Duncan some fits and Q-Rich had a decent game for us but Marion has not shown up offensively. Its expected that Joe Johnson will return Sunday.

Also Matrix I'm also quite surprised by how little we have lost both of these games especially because of some of the circumstances.

I'm still waiting for that onslaught of D that will shut the Suns down.

                Oh wait, it won't happen.

What happenned is that we've ran into a better team period. We'll see what we can do with JJ in the lineup.

No excuses but both games were winnable.

Not to pile on but its lack of D and no depth by the Suns that will be thier undoing. Injuries happen I can't make an excuse for the Suns cause JJ is out. Its the ability to make stops down the stretch that the Suns lack not because of talent but the system.

You don't think lack of depth has anything to do with this?

I mentioned depth and that is why I brought up the JJ injury the lack of depth basically is magnified because of this.

Suns have scored 10 fewer fastbreak points per game which is very important to thier style of play.
