Good job Manu in the 4th quarter. I never would've expected such pathetic play from him late in the game, but he played like a zero down the stretch. I expect him to come out big in game 7 though.

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
Spurs, you blew it. You had the psychological edge of Detroit never winning in SBC, and now that is shattered. The Spurs haven't been in a 7 game series in a very long time, and everybody knows that game 7 is an entirely different beast. I see a game very similar to this one in game 7, I just don't think the Spurs will be able to handle the pressure.Comment

I just hope spurs can pull it off, they are at home, no reason to get comfy early...they need to go out and play their hearts out, that's it.Comment

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
what a game... I was lucky enough to get to go to game 6... what a performance by hunter and wallace... clutch clutch shots..... add in questionable 3rd and 4th qrt. play by duncan, and the miss of FTs... and theres your ball game.
unforunately, i couldnt go to game 7, beucase i drove like 1,000 miles just for this game and work cannot be missed for a WHOLE week.
lol. let me tell you one thing though.. Darko is little a kid in the candy store during timeouts. He pays NO attention to what brown is talking about and looks on at the timeout "activities". its pretty funny.
Afew images from the game.. i used a 2mp 3x optical kodax. thats all ihad.
and of course, no celebration photos. I saved half my memorycard just for thoseLast edited by RubenDouglas; 06-22-2005, 06:36 PM.Comment

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star EVA LONGORIA and US sports pundit pal JOHN SALLEY have come up with a sexy bet on the outcome of the NBA basketball championships.
The actress has agreed to appear on Salley's BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD programme wearing just a bikini if her beloved SAN ANTONIO SPURS lose game seven of the series tomorrow (23JUN05), while Salley has agreed to appear on Desperate Housewives wearing only Speedo swimming trunks if the DETROIT PISTONS lose.
The NBA Finals, between the two teams, are tied at 3-3.
