Classic play call. When the ball goes to a corner in that situation, the guy guarding the inbounds is always told to trap him, because you can't go anywhere in the corner. Pops realized this and purposely threw the ball to the corner and have Horry be right there.

Welp, it was a good year Detroit, but you messed up by not putting the Spurs away when you had them by 4 with a little over a minute left in OT.
