Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
I am in shock why Rasheed Wallace left Horry open.
The only thing I was thinking before the Spurs last possession was "don't leave Horry open."
I thought Larry Brown would make sure of this.
Sure enough, Sheed leaves him wide open.
Leave it to a Tar Heel to cost me a ring.
I am going to have nightmares over that blown assignment. What were you thinking Sheed? Where was Manu gonna go?"He who controlleths the backboard, controlleths the game." - Adolph RuppComment

Nah, this joint is over. The Pistons blew it BIG TIME. They could have put the Spurs on the ropes, but let Horry hit shot after shot. Duncan was pretty much average for most of the night, but they just let Horry eat them up.
You'd think common sense would have told them to stick to Horry like flies on sh*t.Comment

Exactly. If anything, give up the two, but DO NOT LEAVE HORRY OPEN FOR A THREE.Comment

If the game was being played in Detroit I'd say their would be a Game 7....seeing as it isn't, Spurs in 6“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment
