Bob is a smart player. Its helped that he's been on championship teams before. He knows what it takes. -

No one closes out quarters like this team. 16-2 run as Rob Horry hits another big shot.Comment

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
I've never seen the Pistons be so horrible on rotations and not helping out. And they played the stupidest offensive basketball I've ever seen them play. Just brutal. I don't care if they didn't get calls. You play that dumb and don't communicate, you deserve to lose.Comment

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
Like I said earlier, this is the stage where you make a name for yourself in this league. I know it seems as if Ginobili is just on the "Who's hot list" of the NBA right now, and although it is true, is there a better time in the year where you would want to be on the "Who's hot list" other than right now? He proved to me he was one of the league's elite all year long, but I was curious as to how he would fair against Detroit....
Game 1 vs. Detroit
Manu Ginobili: 26pts(10/16 fgs, 2/4 3pts) 9rebs, 2ast
Game 2 vs. Detroit
Manu Ginobili: 27pts(6/8 fgs, 4/5 3pts, 11/13 fts) 3rebs, 7ast, 3stl
Detroit can't let this guy score this much off of such few attempts. In Game 2 he got to the line on a consistent basis, and also did a great job at settin' up others. Now that the series shifts to Detroit, it'll be interestin to see if he can keep this up, because I think Detroit will make more of a valuable effort to turn him into a jump shooter and not let him penetrate to the basket as easy as he has. He's shot well from three, but most of the attempts have been open looks. If a hand isn't in his face at all times, he'll hurt you in every way possible.Comment

Originally posted by SportsmanTOI have a feeling this series might turn into a sweep. Manu is just killin' the Pistons.
Well I'm not going that far, I do not see the Pistons rolling over 2 straight games on their home court. Depending on how game 3 goes, I think the Pistons get 2.Comment

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
MG is the real deal.
DWade was killing the Pistons & Prince, until he got hurt, now Manu is doing the same.
When Manu is hitting his jump shot like he's been doing during the Playoffs, he's almost impossible to stop b/c he can create & attack the rim.Comment

Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread
The Pistons played well but well aint going to beat the Spurs.
They would have beaten any other team in this league with this performance.
Howeva Bowen shut Rip down again when needed. DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE.
The pistons couldnt stop The Spurs and their threes were falling.
The Spurs wont shoot this good next game, I expect the Spurs to be in big foul trouble and Manu to be smashed in the face with a water bottle!Comment
