Re: The OFFICIAL NBA Playoffs Thread

none of the spurs are stepping up in the paint on defense. Horry just stands here, duncan just stands there, nesterovic just stands there. Somebody put a body on them. LOL

I still think spurs can pull off the series. After all they kept homecourt advantage which matters most. I'm rooting for spurs in 6.

I found that odd as well. WTF was Duncan doing just standing there...it's not like he was in foul trouble. They've played horrible defense two games in a row now, although this display was worse than their pick & roll D which made Jerome James like like Amare Stoudamire. For a team who's forte is defense, uh huh..

Still the Sonics did what they had to do, protect home court. Now the Spurs have got pretty much got themselves in a must win for game 5.

Give Avery,Dirk,Damp, and Howard all of the credit. Dirks offemse is coming around. Damp played well, and Josh Howard is a future star in this league. He is really coming up big for the Mavs. But Avery has finally made his imprint on this team, lets hope it lasts.

I was more impressed by there D than anything else. They really shut Phoenix down... well except Nash, which had an amazing performance. Its a shame to have a performance like Nash had and lose the game.

This series has just started! Should be a wild ride the rest of the way.

I`m not sure who to pick from here! But I think the Suns are still favored but only because they have home-court advantage. This series is probably going 7.

Either way... "If" the Suns and Piston make it to the finals, the Suns will be favored because they have the home-court edge. But its a match-up we may never see....

                      On to Game 5!

What in the world kind of performance by Indiana? It's not that they were just not making shots, they showed absolutley no urgency and played with no energy. The 30-2 run didn't help their cause either.. They better find out what their problem is and fast.. they are on the brink of elimination come Game 6.
                        I do because I can, I can because I want, I want because you say I can't

Quite a run. This defense is amazing. I am sure people will say Indy played like crap but the Pistons D had something to do with it.

Darko with a nice hook shot and assist in the last minute, he's looking like a cross between Kareem and Magic. He can't be stopped. If Isiah's watching that should be enough to get him a max contract with the Knicks in 3 years.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I really don't want to see Detroit come back and when the series. That would be a big falter by the Indiana Pacers
