I am sorry, I did not understand what you are trying to say. I have not followed the NBA for quite some time aside from the news and the playoffs so I am not in a position to argue or something like that. But what are you trying to say when you said "Nash won because he is an anomoly"?

But I agree with the NBA decision to make Nash an MVP because of the leadership he provided when he arrive in PHX for the 2nd time. Though if DUncan played consistently, my vote would have gone to him. But then I could be biased since I am a big fan of Duncan and not SA.

Why did they have a Canadian sing the American national anthem? Not that theres anything wrong with it i just find it sorta weird.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

WTF is that trophy doing in the middle of the court? I find that INCREDIBLY ugly.

The thread about Nash and the MVP and the Amare is a young Kemp got to thinking.... Nash and AMare are the stockton and Malone reborn.

Many may see Amare dunking like he does and automatically equate it to Kemps style but they are forgetting back in the day Malone would dunk on you with the best of them. And of course stats wise scoring wise Amare's output is more comparable to Malones then Kemp.

That makes me wonder....when during the Jazz run was Stockton ever picked over Malone as the MVP of the team. Best example is the Jazz first final run.....
          64-18 record
Malone avg 27 points per game 9.9 rebounds
Stockton 14.4 ppg and 10.5 assts

          Malone recieved the MVP recognition.....

          Suns 62-20
          Stoudamire 26. ppg 8.9 rebounds
          Nash 15.5 ppg 11.5 assts

          Nash wins the MVP

Just makes me wonder how this situation is any different...when Amare's point production only went up 6 from last year. And though Nash was added and the standings changed doesn't equate Nash being team MVP anneither is thier record with him out it makes him just more injury prone than Stoudamire.

Nice to see the refs aren't falling for the Spurs' BS early.

The introductions were even uglier... Why the heck did they find it necessary to have Will Smith perform that lame a$$ song right before the intros?

Call me old skool, but I preferred the old style... Sing the national anthem, introduce the visiting starters, then the home starters, not having them run out from some makeshift tunnel...

Well as expected, a low-scoring half, 37-35 Pistons. And not an ugly low-scoring game like the Spurs and Nets, this was just solid defense.

It's great basketball, but I'm about to fall asleep........Almost the end of the 3rd quarter and neither team has even 50 yet.

Wow, I've just seen the most horrible blocking call, and the most horrible non-call on Ben Wallace right there, he definitely has a right to be pissed right now.

Boring Basketball in my opinion but ABC is selling everyone on great defense. It also appears that some of the "Home" calls are starting to go in favor of the Spurs.
