The only thing I have to say right now is, I hope that the US fans on here keep dogging the Raptors. That way when they surprise the world and make the playoffs us loyal Raptors fans can say "we told you so".

3-0, it's only preseason, but still, gotta like Colangelo's moves so far... guys stepping it up when Bosh was out.

I especially LOL at the Nets' fan(s) on here who act like the Nets are a superpower. I'm not predicting a playoff birth for the Raps, but they have a GREAT shot. Your division is up for the taking. Some good luck here and there, and Canada could have bball in May/June.

            5-0 and looking good.

Don't care what anyone says, this team has top 5 depth in the league.

The 5-0 pre-season start has me fighting myself to not get over excited. I wish the pre-season would be over so I can stop torturing myself wondering how the Raps will fare in games that matter. At least you can say this is a much better team than we have seen in a long time, regardless of the competition so far.

I like Toronto's depth this year, and I can't wait to see what TJ Ford can do running that offense.

I like what Sam Mitchell said yesterday or the day before. (i'm paraphrasing)

"We don't have a big star like Lebron on our team but we have the depth to come at teams in waves. The offense is there and if the defense holds up we'll be successful in beating the elite teams"

Do you feel that Colangelo really believes that Mitchell is the guy for the team ? Or do you think that Colangelo has a guy in mind all this time and is just waiting for Mitchell to mess up?

My opinion is that Colangelo has someone in mind but he can't just fire Mitchell without giving him a shot. Now if the Raptors were to make the playoffs this year under Mitchell then Colangelo can't fire the guy because the fans and media will be on Mitchell's side.

It could be very similar to what happened when Cito Gaston got the managerial job for the Blue Jays. Gillick didn't really want to keep Gaston on but Beeston made it clear that Gaston should be given a shot. If Gaston hadn't taken that team to the playoffs then Davey Johnson was going to be the new manager.

Mitchell is making guys accountable when they play defense. I think he's really gonna preach D and rebounding this year, moreso than ever before. This team can score at will and anyone can drop 20. If they can stop people, this team will be flat scary. I think Mitchell will get his extention cause I believe the Raptors will get to 45 wins.

Wow. That's quite a prediction Vince.

Hey Raps fans, how much PT will Joey Graham get this season? I have him on my fantasy team. I saw that towards the end of last season he was putting up some numbers.. and this pre-season he's doing a little bit of damage.

                            HOLY CRAP!

No Bosh, No Ford, No Problem!

I know it's only preseason but it's hard not to get excited about the prospects for this season.

It looks like TJ Ford is close to signing an extension.

I would rather wait until after the season to see if Ford can stay healthy and productive before offering him a long-term deal.

Anybody know how many season tickets the Raps have sold this season?

I have yet to see one single feature on the Raps on TSN/Sportsnet/The Score.

Perhaps I'm tuning in at the wrong times, but the CFL gets way more media coverage than the Raptors.

I wonder if people even know the NBA starts this week.

The Raptors gets a decent amount of coverage on the FAN. (Thank God for Chuck Swirsky!) and i've been seeing NBA comercials on SNET saying "The NBA returns on November".

I was also flipping around the dial and saw one of the American NBA shows on SNET as well. So maybe you are indeed tuning in at the wrong times?
