TJ Ford has signed a 3 year deal with the option for a 4th. The deal may pay Ford as much as 33 Million dollars.

I like this move as it isn't THAT long term of a deal and really they're not paying him out of this world money. I really trust Colangelo and he can do no wrong IMO.

Well tonight's the home opener. Let's hope the Raptors can put on a better show. I hope the fans treat Charlie V with class as well. I really liked the guy. I don't even know how he's doing with Milwaukee but I hope he has a solid career.

hopefully he gets cheers instead of boos. Was tough giving him up.

Disappointing last game, seemed to have a lot of similar problems to last year, but at least it was the first game and at a pretty tough team.

on the bright side Ford looked like the perfect fit I was hoping he'd be in his first real game. love his speed and passing abilities. it's going to be a lot of fun watching him in a raptors uniform.

I hope that the Calderon we saw tonight is a taste of what to expect all year. He showed no hesitation on his long range jumpers and he was aggressive when he needed to be.

The defensive rotation in the first half lagged a bit but they really stifled the Bucks in the 2nd half. I do see some problems when they score quickly tho. It seems they aren't quite ready to get down to the court. Also they have a tendancy to just watch TJ Ford do his thing. (I don't blame them!) which really hurts us when he misses a shot.

I felt bad for Charlie tho, turns out he aggravated a hamstring injury of some type. He was having a great game against us.

                    amen.

think BC would go with promoting internally, maybe in the interim until the end of the season, or someone like adelman?

I'm sick of this team. It's the same **** over and over again. No defense, no rebounding no communication. I haven't watched all the games so far, but from what I see it's the same crap from the past 2 years.

I haven't seen the road trip but from the highlights it looks like we know what the problem is....it's time to sh!tcan Mitchell and bring in a new coach ASAP!

I have a feeling Mitchell will be gone by the All Star break at the very latest.

Mitchell has to go, I had faith in him, but it's clear that not only can he not coach the type of team he has been given to play they way they need to play to be successful, but he can't coach period. Mid-December at the latest before he's gone.

I know the Raptors lost to a good team but blowing leads like they've done during this road trip is inexusable! Colangelo better fire Mitchell's arse or it's going to be another ugly season. Oh and my prediction of 40 wins is looking slimmer by the day.

I only watched bits and pieces of the game but the Raptors have resorted back to being a jumpshooting team. "sigh"

This team is so F'ed up

Not bad, two straight wins vs solid teams. Raps playing good defense, Graham stepping up and Bargs looking good as well.

Bosh's stats look similar to TD's when he had the PF injury. His rebounding has been steller.

I just wish i can catch some of these games, but it's hard with work and all.
