Knicks holding on to the 8th seed...can they make it? I'm not a knick fan, but the league is more interesting with them being in the mix.

    So....Zeke bought himself another year?

      No doubt about it.

I watched my first game in a few weeks yesterday, the third quarter was as good as I've seen them play in a long time. Balkman had a helluva game, gotta love his energy.

I love watching Balkman play- he's the best defender on the team by a wide margin.

Aside from the Pistons (who are an elite NBA team), I think the Knicks could make a 7 game series interesting against any of the other teams in the East. It's all a matter of getting into the playoffs and not being the 8 seed . Hell with the Cavs playing their best ball of the season, they may take the #1 seed. They're looking amazing too right now.

Either way, I'm thankful that I'm even watching basketball this time of year. The last few years, I stopped in November. It's sad, I used to watch basketball like a fiend back in the day too.

That 5 year extension is looking real good right now.

I'm not about to give up, but that could be the season. Baseball season is starting just at the right time.

Oh the season's over. No doubt about it. I'm so upset I really don't know what to say.

Injuries killed us but to lose games like the Portland game, you absolutely don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

I don't think the extension had anything to do with this. Moreso, Q-Rich's absence.

That game against the Mavs was amazing. The problems I saw though was Isiah called a stupid time out when Dirk was shooting freethrows. If they called if afterwards they probably could've took their time and look for a better shot. Besides that it was a great game overall. I expected the Knicks to get blown out but they only lost by 2.

That was the best Knicks game I've seen in 5 years.

Mardy Collins and Balkman are going to be big pieces for the Knicks in future years. Collins plays outstanding D and showed an ability to get to the hoop that I certainly did not know he had.

With the skeleton cast we had on the floor last night, I didn't think we had a chance to compete.

Biggest reason we lost was the loss of a few key offensive rebounds to the Mavs at the end of the game, particularly after that Stackhouse miss on that three. Curry can't box a man out for a life- I'm quickly losing patience with his nondevelopment as far as rebounding is concerned. The Knicks miss David Lee a lot.

This is the most I've been into basketball since 2000. I have to thank Zeke for that at least.

LOL Eddie Curry sends the game to OT with a buzzer beating 3 and the Knicks go on to win. Crazy.

All I can say is...Mardy Collins may be legit.

He has size, poise, length. Just needs a jumper and he's legit.

I don't care what kind of meaningless garbage game that was but 19 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals at PG is not a scrub's statline.

                            That's all.

                              Agreed.

And I bashed the Balkman pick as much as everyone, but he is playing very well.

                              Another good draft for Isiah.
