Nice comeback by the Knickerbockers so far, I thought the Cavs were getting ready to shoot them out of the Garden.

Unbelievable shot from Crawford, Nate gave him the ball a few feet from halfcourt with 1 second on the shot clock and he knocked it down. Knicks down 5 though, they are in trouble.

Gotta credit this team for one thing, Those spurts of excitement would NEVER have happened under Larry Brown. The Isaiah effect is making me watch this team again as every game they get a chance to tie or win late.

          Just need the D

Eh, I disagree, I remember this happening a lot last year. Nate takes charge and gives us energy for a period of time, and Crawford's crazy shots actually go in and we get back in the game. Then we fall up short.

I'm not impressed, even bad teams usually make a run.

It's nice to see were playing tough and hanging close with good teams but it gets to the point when we just have to win. Hopefully it starts against the Wiz.

I am watching last night's game now, and will likely be back with more feedback later. But initially I've noticed Eddy Curry standing around way too much. He is practically non-existent on the offensive boards. I am excited about this year's team, and like most of the players, but Eddy Curry is starting to frustrate me.

It's nice to see Frye with some confidence and taking shots also. Initially, this seems like his best game to date this season.

Some thoughts after the Cavs game:

On some nights, the Knicks are the most exciting team in basketball. They clearly aren't the best, but Nate Robinson's energy, and Crawford's sloppy shots that occasionally go in, result in excitement late in games.

Overall, the second half was pretty unimpressive and slow. Both teams looked mediocre. As has almost become standard, the Knicks made a nice run in the closing minutes, and with it came excitement, and a close game.

Eddy Curry still isn't impressive me. Crawford dribbles too much, and heaves up too many bad shots. Nate Robinson brings a spark, and David Lee's work ethic is fantastic. Quentin Richardson is starting the season strongly, and Stephon Marbury is basically non-existent.

The Knicks are an exciting team. I'd like to see them bring energy throughout, instead of turning it off at various points in the game. They need to move around more; and Eddy Curry especially needs to stop being worthless around the rim. He puts up average stat lines each night, but regardless, he looks like a slacker to me.

Stephon Marbury looks sooo uninterested out there. Who is he going to blame this time. He got the coach that he wanted but he looks like the same miserable Starbury that played under Brown. He's not even shooting the ball until they start to rally.

If I was the coach, I would dump the ball into Curry 10 times in a row. Unless he commits offensive fouls, just get him touches. He can score so easily. But when he doesn't get the ball, he just loafs around.

And watching him give up boards makes me want to cry.

And they get the much needed Garden win before going to Miami Friday

As for tonight's game. Very good outing from the Knicks. Though, I will say that the Heat look like they gave up early in the 3rd.

I really don't get Marbury. He said he's trying to get his teammates involved first, but he really needs to step his game up. Last season he was doing the same thing and blamed it on Brown for changing his game up. Now, it's because he wants his teammates involved? No one is buying that.

They also don't have one for continuity.

I'm tired of watching Jamal Crawford play. Tonight was ridiculous, even for his standards. Every single time he touched the ball he either jacked up a 3, or drove right at 4 Celtics and flipped up a wild shot.

Not to mention Isaiah should be fired for picking up those two T's and getting himself ejected.

You gotta hand it to the Celtics, though. 3 in a row and their young guys look good.

Q was terrible, 0-9 from the field.
