Re: The 2011 New York Knicks: The Rebirth

I mean the local media and call-in radio shows went ape **** when we were 3-8 and looked completely lost on both ends of the floor. If that continued for another couple of weeks and we were 5-17 right now or something I'm sure Pringles woulda been canned, no pun intended.

The triangle isn't exactly rocket science, I don't think the players not knowing it would be a reason Mike D didn't implement it in a game. I'm sure it was his usual insane stubbornness.

Knicks have, Denver, Boston, Miami(twice), Oklahoma City, Chicago and Orlando during an 18-day stretch. We'll see if this team is for real after that.

The schedule so far has been a cupcake one, but maybe the winning will get us on course.

As I've said before, they could go 0-7 against those teams and I won't be upset so long as they play hard.

If they throw us an Atlanta Hawks game performance, I'll be disappointed.

Just show us that they want to play and will do everything in their power to win and I'll be satisfied with the end result. They aren't winning a championship this season, so the best they can do is prepare themselves to get better.

Yeah boy, another great game, 6 in a row... The Knicks has impressed me so much, Felton has been a great edition as he is playing his best basketball ever.

                I. Love. This. Team.

I was a little worried about my season tix when the season started and we got off to a slow start...but now....damn....

I love how some dude in the section behind me started the MVP chant right after I had said "we gotta get a MVP chant going."

That's something I was never able to do, ever, in my life. Chant MVP for a Knick? Whaaaaaat? My mind is still blown and I still have chills. MVP chant for STAT + Ray Felt's 3 that rattled home with 2.7 left?

After the game, I don't think I said a word until we got to the 59th street bridge. I was just cheesing the entire time .

Stoudemire just makes me happy as a fan.

I am one of the biggest complainers I know about big men that don't dunk the ball when under the basket. I hated Kurt Thomas for it. I hated McDyess for it. I hated Eddy Curry for it. The hate just kept on keeping on.

But Stoudemire just dunks the ball. Once he is five feet away from the basket, he looks for an inch of space and just takes off. I love it.

Also, wow at Landry's put back in the first half. He has great hang time for a player his size.

Probably my favorite thing about him. No dicking around. Just kill the ball.

I'm so happy the team is starting to pick up. Hopefully they can do well against the stacked schedule they have coming up.

I didn't think Stoudemire was going to be such a huge upgrade over Lee. I underestimated his energy. I had too much baseball in my mind and forgot that basketball is one sport where the intangibles of energy and leadership actually do matter because it's a constant involving team sport.

Stoudemire exhumes energy the building forgot it had, the team forgot it had. Energy the fans forget we had.

And as silly as it sounds, watching him jog away after a big basket just looks so amazing. He just has this attitude that screams validation and domination*

                      *not stolen from Clyde.

Yeah, STAT is a bad mother****er lol.

The Lee stuff is funny because people were just looking at #'s when saying Amare was barely an upgrade over Lee. How many times did Lee take over a 4th quarter to lead us to a win? Or was unquestionably the best player on the floor? Amare has done that 6-7 times already this year.

                        And then there's his leadership...

We're happy because Amar'e's the biggest star we've had since Patrick. And now things are starting to click with him and Felton.

I love Landry Fields, but unfortunately, he's gone if the Carmelo trade goes down.

Yeah dude. He dunks the ball when you don't even think its possible! **** be getting you out of your seat.
He's also ridiculously quick when facing up. Blows right past bigs with ease. I'm glad we got him. Stat > Bosh

I think its because I Mike Dan, he loves his point guards and can get the most out of any PG.
