If we lose Chandler through a trade it will be a wash. His contract is up anyway. Although I can see the Knicks holding off on his contract if they want to resign him to see where the Melo-stakes go.

I'm hype for this game man. I'm stuck at work but i'll be tuned in somehow.
I hope they win this game cuz a bunch of us are gonna watch the Heat game on Friday.

A win tonight will make that Friday game e.p.i.c..

If you look at the replay of Pierce's shot, the ball goes thru the hoop with 0.6 left enough time for Amar'e to take the same shot and make it count.

I kinda feel like you now... they took this game away from the Knicks.

But they're trying, and when they do slip up it isn't because of lack of hustle, usually it's just a damn good play. Knicks are really bringing it. It's been a long time since I went out to the bar to watch a Knicks game and have a crowd rooting. I missed that old feeling.

Stoudemire has hit some tough shots in the paint during the 8-game win streak. He had a couple more last night. I knew that at some point one of those shots wouldn't fall. It happened and then Paul Pierce had the ball.

This team showed the world The Knicks are back, but it also showed that we lack a couple of pieces to take us the next level. And guess what IMO 1 of those pieces is not Melo. We desperately need a back-up PG & a Big-Man.

I'm sorry Dougie is not a PG. He is a shooting guard in a PG body. If Felton is to stay fresh, we need a real back-up PG.

Our need of a big-man is becoming more & more evident. Though I love Turiaf, he's really a 15 minute guy. We need a Big-Man to help STAT out both on the floor & to eat-up some minutes when he's on the bench. Also to help Wil get some rest as right now he's playing PF.

With all that said. As a Knick fan today I can hold my head-up high with pride & proclaim as STAT did this summer "The Knicks are Back"

I agree 100 percent with what you said. I've been telling people that for the longest. Melo would be great, don't get me wrong, but we need a legit big-man in the paint to really get to the next level. It's great we can put up 100 plus any night but we need to stop getting 100 plus getting put on us and for that you need an intimidating force down low. We kinda doing a big-man by committee right now with the collasping D when the ball gets inside but it's not always working. We need somebody there all the time. Problem is who is that guy and where can we get him from. The options aren't plentiful.

I thought Douglas was going to improve alot but I'm not really seeing it. Looks like he wants to but don't think he has it.

PS: Gallinari why were you rushing your freethrows? 3 misses in a row? Did you have a dinner appointment you didn't want to be late for?
