I will be livid if we trade for OJ Mayo. At this point Wilson Chandler is a better basketball player than Mayo. He's not as talented, but as far as understanding his role and being a complete player that contributes in all facets of the game I will take Wilson every day.

Amare/Melo/Mayo - that scares me. Probably three of the biggest ball stoppers in the NBA.

The rumor is TD & a 2nd rd pick would go to Memphis for Mayo. That's a deal I would do. Mayo would gives us some scoring punch of the bench, as well as a bigger body to defend PG & SG. He may not be as defensive minded as TD, but I could live with that

At this point, with this roster we need Chandler though. Everyone, even Knick fans, thought there was a snowball's chance in hell that we'd be any good with Amare at the 5 and a small lineup around him. But that's exactly how we're winning - with Amare at the 5 and Chandler at the 4.

@ this point, I would prefer also to keep Chandler & make Gallo expendable in a trade for Melo. Chandler IMO just gives us a little move flexibility in that he can play the 2,3 or 4 compared to Gallo who I see as a 3.

I really believe Donnie will do everything in his power to not BLOW-UP what we have in order to get Melo here.

The thing is: Chandler is likely not going to be resigned this off-season, so if you can move him for a player like Anthony, might as well.

There's no way in hell Memphis only gets Douglas and 2nd round pick for Mayo.

As much as I rag on Mayo, he simply doesn't fit with Memphis. If he got into a new situation he could be much more productive, and everyone around the league knows that. I hate his game but he's still a decent shooter with some handle.. I hate how he's a tweener, but I'm almost certain he could be a nice piece on another team.

Yeah that doesn't sound right at all.

I'm soo happy for the Knicks man. #1 offense in terms of points per game. Really wish we could increase that differential. They're allowing the 4th most points in the league.

Wanted to try and go to the Celtics game tomorrow, but I couldn't find anyone to go.

Someone's trying to get me to go to the Heat game, but tickets are just too much. Cheapest is $116 on stubhub, + fees. I'm hoping prices will drop on Friday and maybe I can get some at the last minute, don't know if that will happen for this game though.
