well, we took Hill from San Antonio for our Draft picks. Not familiar with the guy, but everything ive read says we got a good deal.

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
I have also been reading where Vogel will have his interim tag removed and will be named the Pacers Head Coach soon. I think Frank Vogel deserves it.
It also sounds like Vogel has hired former Lakers assistant Brian Shaw to be the associate head coach. I hope that is true because that would be a solid hire for Vogel's staff.Comment

Man, I had to remove all of the crickets in this thread, though, if they weren't here, it would have been completely silent lol.
Looking forward to tonights game. I think we will get a better idea of who we are after playing the Raptors. There is a little that between the teams from last year, and both had dominating first games so it will be a fun game to watch tonight I think.
Pumped for next monday, I'll be at the game here in Jersey, can't wait.Comment

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
I'm really liking this Pacers team. David West is a really nice addition to this team and I enjoyed seeing him hit the jump shot last night to seal the win.
And to think the Pacers still have like 14 million left in cap space. Gives them a lot of options at the trade deadline to make a move for maybe a high scoring 2 guard as I think that's the only real piece they are missing. Paul George can score, but I don't think of him as a true 2 guard.
After years of cap hell the future is looking bright for the Pacers.Comment

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
So, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to see Eric Gordon in a Pacers uniform in the future and he would fit in with the team extremely well given that he is just what this Pacers team is missing. The only question with him is the injuries.Comment

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
Roy Hibbert is quickly becoming my favorite Pacer on this team. After tonight's win over the Lakers in which he sustained a broken nose in the 1st half, in the post game interview he said they told him not to come back out and play, but Hibbert told them he was going to play and if his nose gotten hit again and got worse then whatever because he wanted to win this game. You just have to love that type of attitude and desire to win no matter what the circumstances are.
The Pacers aren't in the same league as the Heat or Bulls, but I think they are the 3rd best team in the East. I know Philly beat the Pacers at Philly, but the Pacers were without Granger or Hill and at less than full strength they played competitive with Philly in that game. So, I think the Pacers at full strength are a slightly better team than Philly who looks to be the 4th best team in the East.Comment

Big win over the Bulls. Derrick Rose no likey the celebrating lol.
Bad loss to the celtics, but a win vs the Magic tomorrow would more than suffice for this 3 game road trip.Comment

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
Man, we dont talk too much Pacers. I feel like we talked more when we were bad, now we are the 3 in the east and we got nothing to say?????
Under 10 games to go, what do you guys think? Would be cool to make it to the 2nd round, go against the heat/bulls and put up a fight, 6-7 game series.Comment

Re: Official Indiana Pacers Thread
I hope Shump is ok. The ankle didn't look that bad when he went down. Wasn't like some crazy "god didn't make ankles to twist that way" kinda thing. Hopefully he's ok. Still though we need a 100 percent non-issue Shump for the next few games.Comment
