Pacers are losing games they should win. Losing home games to the Bucks without Bogut and the Rockets without Brooks or Yao can't be happening as the Pacers are going to need every win they can get.

Im starting to think our defense is worse than advertised. Last night I saw dunleavy get made to look like a fool on a consistent basis, I mean, it seems like they drive to the hoop at will. Im actually surprised last nights game was as close as it was because we didnt do anything defensively.

The Pacers defense in the 4 years under Jim O'Brien has been terrible. The 07-08 Pacers gave up 105.4ppg, 08-09 106.2ppg, last year 103.8ppg, and so far this year statically has been the best defense the Pacers have had with O'Brien giving up just 102.7ppg. While the defense isn't as bad as it was 2 or 3 seasons ago it's still not a very good defense. It's bad that I feel like the Pacers play good defense when they can keep a team under 100 points.

I like Dunleavy but he can't play defense. I think he is better suited to come off the bench and Rush needs to be starting since he is a better defender.I dont think coach O' Brien knows how to teach defense. This team is probably more athletically gifted than some of the great Pacer teams, they should be a better defensive team than they are. I was not a fan of them hiring O'brien as the coach as he has done nothing to change my feelings about that. Personally I would like Scott Skiles to be the next coach. i guarantee they will learn how to play D and get tougher under him.

Pacers look good so far tonight against the Clippers.

The Pacers defense was pretty good tonight against the Clippers. I'd like to see Rush still starting at SG when Dunleavy comes back. The next 2 games are against the Magic and Heat so, really Dunleavy shouldn't get more minutes over Rush against those 2 teams. I have a feeling O'Brien sticks with the veteran though.

Josh McRoberts is such a waste offensively. Dude plays like 30 minutes a night and has trouble even getting 5 points.

Tonight should be a chance to see what the Pacers could be this year. Have not really played any top team yet.

man, what a waste. I liked that we were in it with under a minute left against a good team, but we arent going to beat anyone when TJ Ford and James Posey take 90% of the shots down the stretch. I mean, Granger seemed resigned to let some other people take charge, Idk, im just not a granger fan, I dont see what the draw is. he is decent, but hes not our franchise guy that we are going to build around. We need someone who the players can look at down by 4 with 2 minutes left. Granger seems lost sometimes, man, im upset how the end of that game played out.

Granger was having a poor shooting night maybe thats why he was deferring to others but I agree the greats like Jordan and Reggie no matter how bad a night they were having they knew when the game was on the line they had to attempt to make something happen. I do like Granger thou but the team needs to build toward defense and Hibbert needs to be a huge part of the offense. I think if they build around Granger and Hibbert they will be OK. They just seemed very stagnant on offense late in the game. If Hibbert could have stayed out of foul trouble i think this could have been a different outcome plus Collison being out really hurt us tonight. The refs didn't help much either.

Nah, I was pumped full of Knicks/Nets as a kid with no other teams on local TV really except when they play the kicks or nets, then the 92 Playoffs hit, and I found myself infatuated with Reggie Miller. Then I started liking everyone else, I was a big Rik Smits fan, etc. I also Liked that I was the only dude to like the Pacers and stuff and basically over the last 18 years Ive liked them more and more.

The same type of Deal can be said for why I like the Titans. I just became infatuated with Steve MacNair and started following the team and then started to love them.

Im just not the type of person to do something just to do it, Like become a Knicks fan just because I live in NJ. Ive got to feel a connection or I have to identify with someone/something about the team. It was easy with the 92 Pacers.

I was born a Pacers fan. I idolized Steve Alford growing up but I might have been the only 1 in the State that was glad they drafted Reggie over Alford, lol. I saw a few of his college games and remember him hitting a game winner from about 35ft out. I told my wife if i ever get sick and I am dying i want her to go to the make a wish foundation and see if i can spend a day with Reggie, lol.

Awesome win against the Heat tonight. Grangers offense was a no-show until late in the 4th, Hibbert was out for the most part with foul trouble. Very nice victory indeed.

Definitely a great win. They didn't even play that well and still dominated the game. Nice to see us not bring our A game and still win, and on the road against a team like Miami no less.

The line in the boxscore that stuck out to me was Solomon Jones with 10 rebounds. He'd grabbed a combined 9 rebounds in the 8 games he played in before tonight's game.

It was nice to see Rush starting and Dunleavy coming off the bench. The Pacers really need Rush's defense on the court and Dunleavy shouldn't get more than 20 minutes a night unless he comes in and has a night like he did against the Nuggets.
