Crawford would be a good solid veteran pickup for our C's. We know Jabari Bird is going to be cut soon. Crawford although in his declining years can still provide some scoring off the bench.

He would be an excellent guy to have in situations where we're down by double digits in say the 4th quarter of games with his 3-pt shooting ability.

Yes, the Marcus Smart story brought tears to my eyes.

Let's hope & pray that Jabari Bird gets the help that he needs. It appears the medicine they had placed him on caused him to be worse. It's an experiment with meds in getting mental help for people. Just another sad story.

We certainly are not looking like a contending team in the preseason that's for sure. However, Kyrie hasn't played & I believe we're just trying things with rotations & also allowing a lot of the younger guys to play as much as possible. Plus, Stevens & Ainge are letting the few guys play more that's going to come down to either being cut or making the 15-man roster.

I think Stevens & Aingle already pretty much know but nothing wrong in the preseason allowing a few guys several minutes to see if there might be someone that surprises & has a shot at making the roster. We know Jabari Bird isn't going to be a part of the team & it looks like Wannamaker will make the roster.

We should still have 1 spot left & there's been chat about signing Jamal Crawford but it hasn't happened yet. If we don't end up signing Crawford then the final roster spot should be between Justin Bibbs, Marcus Georges-Hunt, & P.J. Dozier.

Solid Opening Night showing by our Celtics. Other than Kyrie all that played shot the ball pretty well. Kyrie was rusty with a 2-14 shooting performance in 29 minutes.

Rozier played well in his minutes playing behind Kyrie with 11 points & 8 rebounds plus 1 block & 1 assist in 27 minutes.

Hayward in his 1st full game in a Celtics uniform was in double figures with 10 points plus he had 5 rebounds & 4 steals to boot in 25 minutes.

Jaylen Brown scored 12 points on 5-13 shooting to go along with 5 rebounds & 2 assists in 28 minutes.

Baynes also made work of his 19 minutes off the bench with 8 points, 4 rebounds, & 3 assists.

Horford contributed with 9 points, 5 Blocks, 4 rebounds, & 2 assists in 30 minutes.

Tatum though had the big night scoring with 23 points plus 9 rebounds, 3 assists, & 1 steal in 29 minutes.

Raptors whipped up on us pretty good the 2nd half Friday night. We skimmed by the Knicks tonight 103-101 with Tatum having a big game with 24 points, 14 rebounds, & 2 steals.

Kyrie chipped in with 16 points & 6 assists. Hayward set out the Knicks game tonight to rest because we do not want to put too much work/strain on him after the injury he had last season.

Baynes only played 12 minutes tonight but had 10 points & 5 rebounds. Morris played 26 minutes off the bench & scored 16 points with 6 rebounds & 2 assists.
