Agreed. Chandler was big down the stretch as well.

Shump was the man, but, Lin still gets credit. Those were two big time plays at the end.

Still, as I said before, he needs to be more careful.

I'm excited. I see potential in this team, with this guy. Can't wait for 'Melo.

This city is clearly aching and desperate to become a basketball town again—look how wild it's going for a flawed team that remains under .500. Look how New Yorkers panicked over romantic Valentine's dinner reservations because they wanted to watch a midseason road game versus the Raptors. The Raptors! Then Lin wins the game with a three-pointer with a half second left. If you missed it eating chocolate-covered strawberries, you hate yourself.

did you guys know it was asian heritage day yesterday? I know toronto has a huge asian population but I was wondering why there were so many lin supporters (minus the usual).

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the majority of people cheering at the end of that game last night in Toronto were NOT asian.

They were cheering for the same reason the Garden was cheering for Kobe when he dropped 61 a couple years back. Because people want to see something special.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the majority of people cheering at the end of that game last night in Toronto were NOT asian.

They were cheering for the same reason the Garden was cheering for Kobe when he dropped 61 a couple years back. Because people want to see something special.

That plays a part but you can't deny there's a huge amount of people who don't care for basketball that will follow Lin simply because he's asian. Go rewatch the game and look how large the asian population was lastnight. Taiwan, Phillipines, and China have started airing knicks games this month. Because Lins special, or because he's asian? If bill walker was putting up 60 a night those countries wouldn't air the knicks. :O

Simply beautiful basketball to watch when Lin is on the court. Basketball the way it was meant to be played. Team ball, making others better, creating easy looks for teammates.

Granted the Kings are dreadful defensively, it's still a blast to watch.
