Clyde was on fire during the Warrior game, going off on these cats falling for pump fakes and fouling at the three-point line (which drives me nuts). He had me rolling when he said Curry wasn't playing any defense.

We're still running it a lot - it's just been really, really ugly lately. I think the difference this year (and I'm too lazy to look at the stats) is that our pace is quicker and we're getting more stuff in transition/secondary break (quick PnR). When things slow down though we're running mostly the Triangle.

Last night's game was brutal. Our PG situation is so bad that we relied on a merry-go-round of post ups from Melo, Afflalo and Lopez for a fair amount of the second half. The rest of the offense couldn't generate open looks. It's happening too frequently lately.

Also, unless he's still reeling from the illness, KP has hit the rookie wall with a thud. He's been much less active lately and his D hasn't been nearly as impactful. He's mostly settling for jumpers on offense. All signs that he's losing his legs and hitting the wall.

Gonna be a tough stretch. back to backs today and tomorrow than an early start sun. Melo will definitely have to rest that knee at some point

Heard whispers yesterday but thought it was your typical NY rumors. I thought Phil would do the usual thing and give Fisher more time but thankfully Phil isn't playing games and has a set of stones. Great move, it was clear that Fisher has no business being a head coach yet.

The real question now is how does this impact Melo?

I hate this whole coaches become head coach without any experience. I never liked the hire in the first place

I'm totally on board as long as this wasn't Dolan stepping in.

He sucks, he shows glimmers of improvement once in awhile and then goes back to the same ****. Yesterday he used O'Quinn, Seraphin, and Amundson in the FIRST QUARTER.

And the constant talk lowering expectations, and acting like we are some super young team just learning to play in the nba was tiresome.

Especially straight from playing-career-retirement to coaching. He was in way over his head.

There wasn't a single thing he did well as a head coach.
                    - Rotations were AWFUL, legitimately as bad as I've seen in the NBA.
                    - Late game strategy stunk.
                    - He got owned in the 'match-up' game all the time.
                    - Didn't seem like he controlled the sideline or team, often looked lost.

I wish. Hopefully phillop wouldn't mind a coach with his own ideas

We better not see Shaw or Walton in here next.

Shaw <= Fisher, somehow. Walton, you just can't pay any attention to what he's "done" in Oakland.

I don't want to see any more of Phil's bastard children. If I had to have one, I'd take Walton just because he's had success running an actually good offense. But the idea of Luke Walton as a head coach anywhere makes me laugh.
