Yeah, it wasnt all that controversial to me....anyways, we got a huge win tonight. Yet another convincing victory that we can withstand pressure from better teams. McCarty will only make our bench better. I wouldnt be surprised to see another move near the deadline too.

It was a very clean block, the Kings were complaining the entire night.

Re: The Official ***Phoenix Suns*** Thread

Well Nick...I think everyone knows that our main problem is the bench. Tonight we scored 7 points off the bench only, which is VERY pathetic. Jim Jackson has been kicking butt for us but tonight only had 2 points. McCarty's impact is yet to be seen, and well, I havent really noticed anyone else stepping it up (keep in mind that I cant watch the games so I'm basing my comments purely on a stat basis). I know Hunter has been playing well also, and Barbosa is getting healthy.

That said, I would really like to add either another backup point guard, or some interior skill. I would love to have Rafer Alston on this team, but I'm afraid the price might be a little high, and I dont know if he'd settle for a backup role. It's obvious that Barbosa is more suited for the SG position, however he's learning under Nash so a transition could come.

I dont think Hunter and Voskuhl off the bench is enough, either. Outlaw seems to not even be getting any playing time, neither is Voskuhl (who I think is very underrated). I'd love to see another big man, but I dont know who could possibly be on the market at this point besides Alonzo and it seems pretty apparent he's going to Miami. I'd love to see him here, though.

We still have that exception so I'm sure that some move will happen, just when and for who though, I dont know.

alston is too expenisve, but i'm not sold on barbosa, he is a "tweener" imo. Also i don't know if mourning can hold up for a whole year. It would just be nice if someone on the bench would score more than 5 points every once in a while. I wish we would have traded for carlos arroyo at the time, but i say we package barbosa for a point guard.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I can't waite for thursday night. Got tickets for the Suns and Mavs game here in Phoenix. I only get to see my Mavs like twice a year and this is a big game. With the exception of Marquise Daniels being out the Mavs get Phoenix this time with basically a healthy lineup now and Jason Terry starting and playing 30+ at a high level and Dampier finally fitting into Dallas system and killing teams down low and on the boards averaging 14.4 ppg and 14.2 rpg over his last 12 games. Should be very interesting to see how the Mavs gameplan this second time now with a healthy lineup for Nellie.

I can't believe we beat the Warriors. It was a crazy finish for us, scoring the last 8 points, but the game shouldn't have even been that close. Steve Nash looked so tired near the end.
