Plus, McCall has ridiculous power and anyone who watches boxing can't discredit that. Plus, the fight was stopped too early.

      Nah...

Holyfield is the only fighter that beat Tyson in his prime.

I don't see how you could not add Buster to that. Plus, I don't think Tyson ever had a prime. His biggest wins were over a light heavyweight who was collecting a paycheck and was ready to retire and a has been heavyweight champion with serious ring rust and in a state of semi-retirement. Tyson delayed the inevitable against Lennox until he absolutely needed the money. He could not duck any longer.

This will be an interesting and exciting fight as long as Toney doesn't tank with all that excess weight (in the past he has shown to be able to overcome his "fatness").

There is no excuse to miss this fight if you consider yourself a boxing fan - being that its FREE.

Prediction: Toney by decison - 117-112
If there is any KO - expect it to occur in Round 6 (+-2)
          must agree....

its amazing people ONLY watch big names that the media pumps up.

so its hard to take their opinions seriously b/c its all based on a highlight reel. this fight will help decide the next clear champion of the HW division.

Tyson lost to Buster, no doubt....but that fight was taken on short notice, Tyson's ego killed him and the fight was still sorta helped by the ref. Holyfield went toe to toe with Tyson and killed him.

but as for Lennox and Tyson...Lennox ducked Tyson and Bowe...I saw Bowe on TV call out Lennox while he had the belt, offering Lewis a shot but he never stepped up.

We come from different boxing knowledge backgrounds so there is no point in us having a conversation. Buster dominated Tyson the whole fight without the ref.

Plus, it is common knowledge that King and Tyson paid Lennox millions in the early 90's because they did not want to face him. Plus, it is also common knowledge Bowe threw his belts in the trash can rather than face Lennox. Lennox then promptly dispatched of Golota, who dominated Bowe twice and many thought was the best on the planet, in around a minute and a half. George did not want to fight Lennox. Moorer thought he was too big. Evander was really the only one who never dodged Lennox. Tyson went after Evander believing he could beat him knowing he had no shot against Lennox.

                  you trippin.....

Tyson took that fight on short notice. i dont care how great you are, if you dont prepare..you will lose. Sure Buster dominated, any HW that night would have. What did Buster do since?

The belt Bowe threw away has been thrown away by many boxers. that league was and still is very corrupt.

Every great fighter Lewis beat was way past his prime. Except for McCall and Rahman who both knocked him the uck out.

Good lord, Toney is such a better fighter than Rahman, I mean if he was in any kind of shape, Rahman has no shot.

James Toney is not a good heavyweight. Also this is just another black eye for the heavyweight division with no winner. Rahman won the fought in my view.

LOL.....you obviously have not seen it then. Lennox was up by 5 and the fight was stopped by a mexican ref that could not speak english and there were implications he was tied to King and the WBC president. Go back and watch it, the fight was stopped too early. Even the commentators believed so.

I thought Rahman won also. However, I think both of these fighters are not heavyweight elites. I think Wlad, Peter, Byrd, Brewster, Brock, Maskaev, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Krasniqi, etc. would beat both of them. Rahman just is not smart enough to fight Toney like you should and I think both proved they don't belong in the elite. If Toney decided to get in true shape, he would beat Rahman. But, I don't think he will ever put himself in that position again.
