At least until the Super Middleweight Tournament (can't wait for that to start).
Manny's star is brighter than Floyd's right now, so him losing probably is the bigger money hit right now. Floyd doesn't have near the luster that he did even a year ago, probably just due to inactivity. Plus I think there's alot more people that would actually root AGAINST Floyd than would root against Manny.

Honestly, in terms of viewership, I don't see the sport taking a major hit if either loses, but that's just me.

Doesn't the enemy generate more viewers than the hero? Why do the Patriots, Yankees, Red Sox, and Yankees get more viewers than the Steelers (that pains me to say as a Browns fan), Rays, Magic, etc. Because people love to hate. I can find more people that would pay to see Money get his butt kicked than people that would pay to see Manny win.

Thats kind of a misconception. Yankees, BoSox, Cowboys, all have tons of fans across the country. They don't really love to hate as much as they just like to watch the big names. Floyd is a big name (Best boxer P4P IMO) but he is too conservative a fighter. He is very boring to watch. Manny on the other hand is probably the most exciting boxer in all the sport. I usually root for the American in international fights, but Manny is probably the most likable athlete I can think of. The dude is insanely humble and extremely talented.

But ya, I too am hoping for a super fight between PBF and Manny as soon as they both take care of their business.

            Good post.

As far as them both taking care of business, I think the JMM fight might be closer than people think. There's some info looming about PBF that's gonna probably be public here soon that's going to affect the predictions about the fight.

JMM has a real chance to beat Floyd b/c of two things. He is an active, quick fighter. Second is that Floyd has ring rust and was injured in sparring. He never said why, but that is alarming to me.

How much will this fight cost PPV?

The injury isn't healed - that's what I've heard and we'll leave it at that for now.

Actually, it is real. I can't really say how I know (or I'll probably never be privy to such info again) but he's definitely hurting, even now.

O ok, i believe you just as i believe the other trustworthy internet sources on various message boards. Your reply? Probably along the lines of " you dont have to believe me or i cant give out my source/details". Yea, ok.....

Of course, you know how it works. I'm not gonna divulge my source out in the open a message board because if I do, I give up the chance to get inside info in the future.

So I take the chance that you don't believe me, primarily because I don't CARE if you believe me or not.

My source says Floyd is hurt, and I know how reliable my source is.

My source that is VERY trust worthy told me that they pushed the fight back to build promotion and buzz. My source also told me that the outcome of the Cotto/Clottey fight had something to do with the fight being delayed... I would tell you my source, but i want inside info in the future.

Hmm, you're right, that was easy, no wonder everyone does it.
