The remarks to Larry Merchant are long overdue. Mr. Merchant has a long history of disrespecting fighters.

If their were any doubts about Manny ane PBF there are gone. We just watch PBF dominant a bigger (14 pounds), younger fighter. Manny will be totally outclass if and when he fight PBF.

They hate him because he made $40 million last night in less than 30 minutes . When they say they want him "humbled" I know what they mean. He needs to be put in his proper place. That's why so many of THEM applauded Larry Merchant . How dare this arrogant disrespectful prizefighter berate this fine , educated gentleman in public? No he has never boxed 1 round but arrogantly feels he can whip Floyd.

I stand corrected. Just spit in Larry Merchants face and collect his $30 million .

Plus he had not had a fight in 16 months. Take the test Manny so you can get knocked out for the 3rd time

No way PBF knocks out Manny. He MIGHT win a decision. But there is no way he knocks him out. If the fight even happens, that is.

Everybody likes to bring up the fact that Pac-man was knocked out. But that was when Manny was like 15 and 16. Over the last five or six years, Pacquaio has been fighting the same people Mayweather has but the difference is Manny has been DESTROYING them.

Sorry but this is a really foolish thing to say. Pac is talented but saying he destroyed the same opponents floyd fought is bull, he fought all of floyds opponents AFTER floyd beat them first and they weren't nearly as good. Ricky hatton was going downhill and not undefeated anymore, de la hoya was weight drained due to pacs catchweight demands and was WAY out of his prime, mosley had just lost to floyd and had a draw with mora, he was also WAY out of his prime when pac fought him. That argument doesn't work.

Floyds most recent opponents have looked much better than pacs i think.

Honestly this is the worse argument a Pactard can make.
Manny Pacquiao has been fighting beaten fighers for the last decade, this is the only reason I give him no credit. But thank god hes fighting Marquez, he'll get credit for this one. And to add to this, Floyd beat these guys much better. He dissected em thru boxing, Manny is just a dynamic puncher. But what happens when he fights someone with boxing smarts? Look at whath appened with Mosley. Manny couldnt figure him out the rest of the fight when he went into defensive mode. I think this is the best measuring stick for PBF v Manny.

Manny couldnt land anything when he went defensive, but Floyd on the other hand kept good aggression against him and tagged em at will.

What will Manny do when he fights someone thats defensive and actually hits back? My answer is: Decision win by the counter puncher.
"We gon' float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. AH! Rumble, young man rumble! AH!"

18, and 21 respectively. Floyd was a champion back then.

On top of the fact that Pacquaio has been fighting Floyd's older, worse, weight drained leftovers. He also has a lose in the last six years. Floyd was a champion at that time as well.

When I saw Tyson bite Holyfields ear, I thought I'd seen it all in boxing.
What once was a great sport has continued to be the punch line in the sports world.
Thanks to Floyd, Boxing will continue the much soiled reputation it has deserved.
What happened the other night was a fighter disgracing the sport he grew up in, and
showing no respect to the profession that has allowed him to become a millionaire.
Low blows and head butts happen, but to sucker punch an opponent during a stop in the
fight is despicable. A life time ban would be appropriate, I've been sick of Floyd hand picking opponents for the last decade and could care less to ever see him fight again.
It even sounds like his own father is losing respect for him:

"Lil Floyd done let money go to his head, man, and when you let money rule your life, you either gotta have a rude awakening or you have to go broke. I'm not saying I want to see either one of them happen, but money is the root of all evil. ... Maybe Floyd needs a loss to come back to reality. Right now, he's undefeated and he's making of ton of money while fighting, but, I don't know, man. I never want to see my son lose because through all the bull****, he's still my son. But Lil Floyd needs some sort of reality check, whether that be in the ring or out."

So, you've got no problem with the intentional headbutt from Ortiz?

Floyd should get a lifetime ban for what exactly? The ref had restarted the fight when Floyd hit him.

Floyd and Pac have gotta have this fight man. I want to see the world explode with excuses and disses when Floyd wins this fight man. I can't wait to see what new line of crap we'll get about Floyd this time. A lifetime ban for hitting someone in the middle of a fight? Classless for hitting someone after the ref restarted the fight? If that was Pacquiao and Floyd fighting last night, and Floyd was Ortiz and Pacquiao was Floyd, people would still be laughing and talking **** about Floyd getting knocked the **** out and bragging about the greatness of Pacquiao, but since Floyd did it, he's a disgrace to boxing. This cat Floyd so gangsta he dun made comedians out of people man.

Yeah people tend to get blindsided by their hate for floyd, it makes them act pretty hypocritical and downright stupid, it's pathetic. People cry about not liking the way he acts. Guess what? That doesn't matter! This is boxing not a popularity contest. His skills are amazing and i love what he does in the ring. I watch boxing to see skilled boxers fight.
