some kind of Champions-League like in Soccer would be cool for boxing...no ducking possible.

3 weight-classes, top-3 fighters of each organization. Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, Middleweight. the others can play fight night on ps3

They're are actually a couple of good middleweight fights on the Alvarez-Khan undercard:

        David Lemieux vs. Glen Tapia

        Patrick Teixeira vs. Curtis Stevens

I'd buy this PPV if it was reasonable. $30 maybe.
But I don't want to give DLH any money for hand-picking a lightweight so his middleweight 'champ' can defend his title at 155 lbs.

You read my mind. I'd get this for $30. The undercard is strong, and you could see Khan do something for a while.

a lightweight with a suspect chin, at that....but he could give canelo some trouble if he follows floyd's gameplan.

Yeah, but you can't teach Floyd's defensive prowess, and he got Canelo at 152 pounds, which helped Money a little bit. Realistically, I could see Kahn going anywhere from rounds 1-6, although I'd love to be wrong.

Outrageous comments from Alavarez about GGG having to do more to earn his shot at Canelo-Diva's WBC 155 Catchweight belt.

Count me as someone who thinks Khan is capable of giving Yellow problems.
But with his chin, I don't see him lasting the full 12.

I also find it hilarious that Alvarez questions GGG's opposition when he's about to defend his title against a Welterweight (who is probably a true Jr. Welter).

The good news is WBC President, Mauricio Sulaiman has stated that he will strip Yellow of his title if he refuses to fight GGG.
There was an agreement by both parties that they were allowed one interim fight before being forced to face each other in the Fall.

I hope he has a stiffer spine than his old man and actually goes through with that threat.
Unfortunately, it's highly likely that Alvarez will relinquish his belt to continue his legacy of becoming Jr Chavez Jr. 2.0.
Continue using your ability to rehydrate to obscene measures and use that extra bulk to secure a win.
I had read that in his fight against Cotto, he was near 180 lbs while Cotto wasn't even 160.

This is basically the only truly essential skill in boxing these days. Well, that and the ability to hand-pick opponents and catch-weights....

                        LOL

And the WBA can't force GGG to fight at below 160.

Both Canelo/Khan made weight at 155. Canelo looked real strong and not very drained (he looks like he kept his weight manageable since his last bout). Khan looked okay, but a bit soft compared to when he makes Welterweight.

My prediction has been consistently Khan with a decision victory. Though, I wouldn't bet my house on it, lol.

I find everything Yellow and his promoter say these days to be hilarious. Just cut the bs, stop with the Marvin Shabazz "he ain't fought nobody" routine, miss me with that "we gotta let the fight marinate" baloney and just come out and say you're not gonna fight GGG.

                              Have to disagree Sausage.
Three fights at welterweight for Khan, zero knockouts, including a decision against the same light hitting puncher in Algeria that Errol Spence demolished. I remember Khan as a good puncher at 140, but he's moving up again after a brief stop at 147. I saw the weigh in and "Yellow Canelo" looks (and is) considerably more powerful while Khan has acquired discernibly fat. He will get bullied. (IMO)
