Re: Boxing Off-Topic
I don't know how popular this guy is in the UK? I don't believe he's close to what Froch was.
Any OSer from the UK get the BoxNation channel? I notice the subscription rates are pretty high (US $22 a month against the pound, over $17 against the Euro).
BoxNation outbid SkySports for the UK TV rights to this fight.Comment

According to Shane Mosley, GGG vs Alvarez is a done deal.

Re: Boxing Off-Topic
So, this is totally not in the flow of the conversation here, but it's a pet-peeve of mine and I thought I'd waste your collective time with it because Friday/lazy/unproductive.
The title of this very ON-topic boxing thread is, bizarrely, "Boxing Off-Topic". Shouldn't the title of the thread be simply "Boxing", "Boxing - Other", or "General Boxing Discussion", or something to that effect? I feel like it's a bit misleading that the most substantive boxing discussion on this forum is contained within a thread denoted as "Off-Topic".
So I'm off to complain about some slightly off-level pictures hanging on the wall of the cafeteria now. I'll just go ahead and see myself out....Last edited by pietasterp; 05-13-2016, 01:51 PM. Reason: By the way, the irony of this post being the actual first "Off Topic" post in this thread has not eluded me...Comment

Re: Boxing Off-Topic
A canceled bout would cost Wilder his biggest purse ($4,504,500) while Povetkin would stand to lose $1,930,500. The winner gets an additional $715,000.Comment
