I think he is fighting on PBC on Spike TV later this month

Kovalev definitely didn't look like his usual search-and-destroy self, but maybe some credit is due to Issac Chilemba, who I think fought an intelligent and crafty fight. Hard to say now what will happen against Ward, but it does seem like Kovalev can be confused a bit by crafty boxers (like Bernard Hopkins). Of course, we'll have to see what Ward looks like in a month, but again, not sure we'll learn all that much...

I honestly actually didn't even realize Pacquiao had "retired". But boxing retirements are like campaign promises; no one who wasn't born yesterday believes them.

I hope he goes after a big fish straight-away.
                Danny Garcia would be nice.

There are so many quality 147lb fighters out there, the possibilities are endless.

I don't think it was even a full year

That would be nice. He should've chose Crawford in his last fight but he chose Bradley. Hopefully he chooses a better fight for this one.

                      Me too.
I don't want to be pessimistic, but I worry he's only doing this for the paycheck since he blew a lot of his career earnings on his political campaigns.

I wouldn't be surprised if this fight is against a 'body' and probably at a 143lb catchweight.

I'd love it if he went to 140 full time. I agree with Roach when he says he feels that's his best weight-class.

Max Kellerman takes over for Skip Bayless on ESPN's First Take, joining Stephen A Smith. I'm posting this in "Boxing" because most OSers simply ignore Bayless.

Arum tried to set up a Pac-Broner fight but the latter priced himself out by asking for "upwards of $10 million". Predictably Adrien took to social media to blast Arum.

Actually that fight would at least be interesting, but I'm just not a fan of Pac, and not willing to shell out PPV money.

If they were to fight, the undercard would have to be stellar too.

i'm a fan of manny but this one puzzles me....the only ones i see worth coming out of retirement for would be garcia or crawford.
