EDIT: It appears Deontay Wilder will be traveling to Russia to take on Alexander Povetkin.
Wasn't just the gambling it was everything involved with it cost him a lot of money. His entourage and cronies and bad business decisions in rap and real estate widdled his money down. I was semi-joking about the **** fighting but it didn't help him at all.

Wilder going to Russia to fight Povetkin is interesting. Especially since he's the champ. Should be a great fight.

I'm sure it has something to do with Povetkin's camp winning the purse.

This is a great fight. Hopefully it's free on HBO.

Isn't it sad that the best HW fights to be had don't include the current and former HW champ?
I'm not sure I'd watch Klitscho-Fury 2 even if it was free. Their first fight was horrendous. It was free and I still wanted money back.

Sorry bud, I didn't see this - no I'm the producer and director of the show.

I've used a lot of different commentators over the years but most often Doug doing pxp. Michelle is a national Muay Thai champ and trains in the same Gym a bunch of guys have sparring sessions at. Tebor is a former Canadian Champ, but took too many chances early in his career and his record looks bad on paper. He may be fighting on the next card I'm covering in May, so I'll get another pro current or retired or a trainer.

I'm interested, more interested if Wladimir didn't dominated him. Lennox gives Povetin the advantage and then reminds everybody of Wilder's punching power, but that sounds more like picking the underdog for upside and then adding insurance on the side.

Paul Williams returns to boxing as a trainer with his guy Justin DeLoach (13-1, 7 knockouts) facing Dillon Cook (16-0, 6 KOs). The fight will be telecast on the ShoBox:The New Generation card on ShowTime Friday night, March 25th.

                Good luck to Paul.

Didn't realize Thurman-Porter was rescheduled all the way to June 25th because Keith got in a car accident.

I knew the original date was March, actually five days ago (3-12).

Ward must have set an all-time record for most check hooks landed in a single fight....unbelievable! with that said, i think he needs at least one more tune-up fight before facing Kovalev.

Yeah, he looked good for a guy with some rust. Kovalez will have his hands full. Potentially great fight.

Before the fight Sergio called Andre a "gentleman, a nice man" and said a fight against Ward would be the biggest challenge of his career.

I doubt you need trash talk to sell this bout.

I don't know about a good fight, but it highlighted Ward's skills, rusty or not.
