Heavyweight division is thriving outside of the US. No need for top Heavies to fight in the US, when no one will follow them or cares about. Get a legit US Heavy and people will start to care. But when Guys like Floyd are making $100 million a year no one is missing the division.

Yeah, Klitschko didn't pull in $17 million because NO ONE cares. But most of his loot comes from his fan base generating PPV in Europe.

I missed the fight not because I didn't care to watch it, I just forgot about it.

Wow. Just watched that garb. Klitchko fights like such a bitch for such a big guy ! He should be trying to knock guys out, not hold, lean on ppl and push their head down all fight.

What a contrast, going from watching that dope to Cotto. haha

Miguel Cotto looked excellent on Saturday against Delvin Rodriguez, stopping him in the third round. It was his first fight with Roach in his corner, so it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. I think Sergio Martinez or Canelo would be ideal.

Same. I missed the show when it came to my town, so I'm glad it's coming on TV.

Looks like a catch-weight fight at 158 is in the works with S-Mart.
I think that would be a very entertaining fight. If this happened 2 years ago, I think S-Mart handles him easily. But Sergio is showing his age recently which should mean this could be a very even fight.

In other news, I've heard GGG's manager say his fighter can get down to 154 for a tilt against Mayweather. Don't know if Mayweather wants that action, haha. That'd be a tough fight.

GGG at 154 yeah I doubt Floyd is about that, but of Showtime/Golden Boy can bring the $$$ I could see that as his very last fight of his career. GGG needs to increase his profile by about a 100 though. No casuals know about him.

Very true. If he keeps knocking dudes out on HBO, then I think his stock and name will rise amongst even casual fans.

Might weaken GGG too much. On the other side Mayweather doesn't need that fight.

Oh it will but GGG and his management team know that even if he loses he still makes 10-15 million. Floyd right now is a lotto ticket. Guys like the Ghost are really just there to cash in. GGG has one punch KO power that could legitimately change his career post Floyd if he beats him via KO. Which is why he would go to 154 and probably all the way to 150 IMO for the chance.

Floyd doesn't take a chance with GGG imo. Nothing to gain from it, GGG has no name and is a huge risk, unlike Canelo who was huge in Mexico and after the fight with Trout where he slowed down and took rounds off I'm sure he was supremely confident Canelo had nothing for him.

Yeah, no way GGG gets a fight with $ right now. He'd do rematches with Canelo & Cotto before that although it would be interesting to see him fight Cotto now that he has Roach in his corner.

No interest in Floyd-Cotto rematch with or without Roach. Does anyone really think the result will be different?
