Id rather see that again than see Amir get knocked out and I like Khan in general.

This just shows what everyone on here has been saying, which is there is essentially no compelling fight (that can actually realistically be made) that Floyd can make for the forseeable future. I mean, Amir Khan? Pfffttt.......might as well just have a PPV of Floyd having a sparring session at his Vegas gym.

There is atleast one fight that people want to see, that could be compelling but will never happen because they are "boys"....

Are you talking about Broner? I don't think Broner could touch Floyd right now, and that would be a sleeper of a bout anyway....

anyone see Provodnikov whip Alvarado? great fight!!! Provodnikov is one tough S.O.B with the heart of a lion and a chin of steel. sure to be an exciting fight anytime he steps in the ring. would love to see a rematch with Bradley.

Bernard Hopkins won again... He is awful to watch fight, but the man is almost 50 years old and is still fighting on the highest level. Crazy.

Deontay Wilder won last night as well. He fought another can, but at least he was able to go a few rounds this time. I hope he gets a step up in his next fight (doubt it though).

Agree on watching Hopkins. I did get a kick out of him saying he would go down the 160 to fight Floyd.

My heart broke for Rosales begging and pleading for the Doc to not stop the fight. That said hearing that he was down so bad that he needed a KO to win makes me shake my head at the judges.

Instead of fighting Kovalev or Stevenson, Hopkins is talking about a bout with Mayweather at 160.

                    Re: Boxing Off-Topic

Just finished watching the card from last night.

                    - The Wilder fight was entertaining. His opponent wasn't all that great, but he wasn't afraid to exchange. I enjoyed it for what it was. Hopefully Wilder gets a good opponent soon.

                    - Kid Chocolate's wife is a cutey. Because of that, and him coming out to Raekwon I was pulling for him at first, but Rosales showed me something. That cut was nasty and I wasn't surprised they stopped the fight, but I would've liked to see it continue though because Rosales was making it a competitive contest. Tough way to lose a title fight.

-I guess I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed watching B-Hop. He frustrated the hell out of Murat, was less conservative than he usually is, and made it a fun contest. I'm a big fan of Hopkins though, so maybe that's clouding my judgement a bit. Alien blood.

If he beats Kovalev he's an alien from Krypton.

Overall B-hop's fights are boring BUT this one was very entertaining. Rounds 7 & 8 were the most entertaining of his career. I can't remember the last time I saw B-Hop exchange punches like that.

Not to be redundant, but this is something I really don't want to see.

                              NO NO, PLEASE DON'T

I mean, come on Bernard, you don't want the punchers at 175 (Stevenson, Kovalev) or 160 (GGG), so you want an exhibition with Floyd.

Don't blame him, the money would be good....I guess.

To put things in perspective the guy that Bernard just beat, got stopped by the vastly overrated Nathan Cleverly, who was just annihilated by the guy that Bernard is afraid to fight. (Kovalev).

Sorry I guess he has a built in excuse.
Hopkins is ShoTime, Stevenson, Kovalev are HBO.

EDIT: And of course so is GGG (with HBO)

Great job by referee Jack Reiss during the Ward vs Rodriguez fight. he took control of an ugly situation in rd 4 and actually solved the problem. dirty stuff went away from that point on!!! GREAT JOB!
