Broner would only take that fight for a figure no one would be willing to give.

I agree..we are headed for another Riddick Bowe Lenox Lewis fiasco..in the end it isnt about legacy for 95 percent of these cats its money and how long can we fleecd the public..they will keep up with this phony bad blood to keep interest in the fight..both are taking chances as both are very beatable..

Agree Crawford would destroy him..I doubt Broner would take the fight he knows another loss and he is permanently erased..he is going for easy money with Vargas as vargas cant punch..if you want to see some cherrypicking watch Broners next 3 handpicked opponents..

Joshua will still bring in huge bucks for fighting lesser opponents. Wilder doesn't have that luxury.

It is in Wilder's best interest to fight Joshua as soon as possible.

I dont know man Wilder has found the magic formula talk trash talk more trash knock folks out and mix it in with a exciting fight..His last fight with Ortiz put him on another level ..he is getting a following..I did say a while he needs to take the fight while the iron is hot..but they both have found a way to milk it..as long as they stay away from Big Baby they will be cool..lol

Joshua has made over $30 million in his last two fights while Deontay made under $4 million for his last two fights including only $2.1 million against the monster Ortiz. AJ has the rabid UK fan base and Sky Sports PPV at his back.

Missed every fight. Forgot to tape Ramirez-Angulo.

On a very side note, Joe Smith stayed alive by KOing fading club fighter
Melvin Russell in the first round. Apparently, the team thinks that entitles them to a fall fight with Kovalez.

Not an overly impressive performance by ascending welterweight Egidijus Kavaliauskas last night on ESPN although he clearly won.

Last nights telecast revealed that Pacquiao-Matthysse will be part of a hybrid ESPN/ESPN+ doubleheader this coming Saturday.

July 14th 7 (ET) on ESPN: Regis Prograis vs Juan Jose Velasco
July 14th 9 (ET) on ESPN+: Pacquiao vs Matthysse

Prograis will be fighting in New Orleans (very close to me) trying to reinforce his standing as the top 140 guy despite not having a major belt (IBF junior welterweight title is vacant). His opponent (Velasco) is also undefeated.

To watch Pacquiao/Matthysse you have to have the ESPN+ streaming service ($4.99/month).

I know that I have said this before. I am really hating that ESPN is putting their bigger fights on the paying network and televising the smaller fights. I know why they are doing it but it is annoying.

I can tolerate it if it brings a fight that straddles the PPV/non-PPV line for a relatively low price.

Yeah, I bought a subscription for the early morning Inoue-McDonnell fight (then forgot about it, LOL) and canceled later.

Lol. That sounds like something I would do lol. Maybe I will do that. And then cancel it. Just join when it is a fight I want to watch.
