I wouldn’t be shocked in the least if he was running out of money.

EDIT: Joshua comes back and ends the fight in the 7th but apparently had his hands full and then some.Last edited by JayBee74; 09-22-2018, 05:50 PM.Comment

Re: Boxing Off-Topic
I couldn't believe Potvikin even took it. Took another handful of flush shots to put him down.
I had Potvikin winning the fight up to this point. He was the aggressor and landing more shots.
He wobbled Joshua in the 1st round with a great uppercut, hook combo.
But Joshua was just too big and that right-hand has dynamite in it.
He NEEDS to fight the winner of Fury-Wilder next. And I hope it's Wilder. That's going to be a very entertaining bout.
BTW, watching this on DAZN - which I have free for a month.
If I was into NFL football, it would be a no-brainer to purchase for $150 CDN a year.
But other than boxing and the MLB Network, there's nothing else really holding me.
However, if they continue to offer fights that would have cost me $90, I may reconsider.Comment

Re: Boxing Off-Topic
Joshua is far less nuanced as a boxer than people think. Everyone depicts Wilder as this one-dimensional caveman while Joshua is a slick, Ali-style boxer. That's horsesh*t. Wilder and Joshua are the same -- two guys with very little head movement or footwork who both rely on monstrous power. Joshua's only edge is a solid jab.
Povetkin was pressing the action all the way until the TKO. The shots to Joshua's nose in the first round neutered any ideas of attack by Joshua, who was backing up for most of the fight.
A year ago, I thought Deontay Wilder had ZERO chance of beating Anthony Joshua. But after mediocre outings by Joshua against Joseph Parker and Povetkin, not only does Wilder contend April 13 against Joshua, he beats him.Xbox Live: pk4425Comment

Re: Boxing Off-Topic
As far as Joshua-Wilder, I've always felt Wilder had the advantage.
In their previous negotiations he gave in to almost all of Joshua's demands and they still stayed away from him.
I'm a huge Wilder fan not only for his style but also because he's not afraid to fight anyone.
He'll go into anyone's backyard and take paycuts to do it.Comment

I guess Sunday's (???) Molina fight is up in the air at best.
I had no idea trainer Robert Garcia was Ortiz's legal guardian.Comment
