I haven't looked at the deal (or video), but what are the parameters? 8 million a year + a % of gate and PPV numbers? Or just straight $8 million a year?

2 fights a year for 5 years. This is all coming from Broner's talk with TMZ. I'm a little surprised they offered him that much. I know the Paulie Malignaggi was his top earn at the time ($1.5 million), and it's not like his earning power his skyrocketed since then.

I mean what current matchup would get Broner at least $4 million?

Meanwhile Roc Nation just signed Andre Ward to an undisclosed amount.

I'm not 1000% convinced that Haymon is offering his fighters millions under the table to turn down RN. That makes three fighters (Wilder, Quillin and Broner) who turned down offers that wouldve been their biggest payday by far. Haymon is also selling them on once his NBC deal starts this year they will be worth more because of the national TV exposure.

Gotta say RN's roster is decent right now. Ward, Jennings, Dulorme and Gaele. Not bad for a start.

Was some kind of settlement reached between Ward and the Goossen family? Last May an arbitrator ruled in Dan Goossen's favor, stating that Ward's contract was valid until November 2016. Ward has been dealing with the family since Goosen's death in October.

Yep, they reached an agreement. I have a feeling RN helped with the buyout.

Did not know that Alvarado/Rios 3 was going down. Excited to see another war between them. Don't think Alvarado will pull this one out though. Rios can take his punch and Alvarado bails on boxing too early when he is fighting Rios.

Assuming HBO hasn't burned any bridges with Al Haymon. This is a huge list of fighters no longer promoted by Golden Boy.

Golden Boy Promotions president and principal owner Oscar De La Hoya and Richard Schaefer, his former CEO, reached a settlement on the $50 million De La Hoya was seeking in an arbitration case filed in June, a source told ESPN.com.

Wow, you can say that again! I see Deontay Wilder's last Golden Boy fight is next week against Stiverne.

                    Anyone watch FNF this weekend?
The Jarrell Miller vs Aaron Kinch fight was unreal. Not necessarily for skills, but Kinch's chin and heart were incredible.
I think he was gassed 10 seconds into the fight and proceeded to take about 100 powershots directly to his chin and head and never once went down. He also found enough reserve to respond here and there. If he had any power, he might actually be a dangerous gatekeeper.

Another undercard fight, undefeated Kendal Mena vs Francisco Santana was awesome too - but again for different reasons.
First, Mena has only fought in the D.R. and only once against a fighter with an above .500 record.
Santana actually had a decent resume.
From before the opening bell, Atlas was harping on Mena's terrible list of opponents and felt that he should have faced a few more seasoned pro's before getting into the ring against a very capable Santana.
While repeating this, Santana caught Mena with a beautiful counter left-hook that floored him.
He was still on queer street when Santana caught him with a hard right, followed by a lightning fast left-hook that had Santana doing a Nestea plunge. His eyes were open, but he was out cold on the way down.

Been reading a lot of stuff on Twitter the past couple of days that sounds like this Mayweather/Pac fight might actually happen. I'm not gonna hold my breath, but do any of you believe it's finally going down this year?

Front page of Yahoo reports that Pac has agreed to terms including a 60/40 split. All that awaits is Floyd's signature. If this sounds like regurgitated news, it feels like something solid.

Also mentioned in the article is a live gate that could be scaled to hit $40 million, and a $120 million bonanza for Mayweather.

Read that article, sounds like typical Bob Arum crap. Sounds like he's doing his part to either sabotage or cover his own *** with that. Why even run to the media with this stuff if Floyd's reps have agreed to everything but Floyd hasn't yet? Then Floyd's reps haven't even verified that Arum is telling the truth? I think he's just setting it up to throw all the blame on Floyd when/if this fight doesn't happen.

Good points King, but the Arum crap might actually be working, and it is $120 million possible dollars. That much cash might be Floyd's green Kryptonite.
