As a live sports producer I can tell you that there is no difference in production and all the cable/sat companies offer HD for the same price and SD is on the way out and almost gone - so the fact that HD PPV broadcasts cost more is a HUGE scam.

It is and should just be the standard - if you're offering 4k or 3d or some ship - fine, but you're not!

Three networks offer three different fights tonight, none of which I'm interested in.

      I'm surprised Marquez-Alvarado is a Non-PPV.

      - Lucas Matthyse vs. Danny Garcia (rematch)
      - Canelo Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
      - Peter Quillin vs. Gennady Golovkin
      - Mayweather vs. Pacquiao (yep, it's an undercard to me at this point...)
      - Adonis Stevenson vs. Sergei Kovalev

I guess I'd be willing to shell out $75 for that card. But not a penny more.
Yeah, as much as I enjoyed Floyd versus Maidana, the undercard was underwhelming, and that $65 Standard DEF price was overwhelming.

Still, I'll overpay for a good headliner with a good second fight on the undercard.

Yea, it was pretty good. Thought Mike had a chance to get him if he stepped on the gas pedal a bit more, but he was waiting on Marquez to counter him. Waiting a bit too much though.

I got pretty pumped when Alvarado did knock him down and thought it might turn into a real war after that, but it never did. Entertaining fight though.

Watching this Cotto/Martienez interview with Kellerman now..

Great fight. Marquez is still a top tier fighter at his age. I don't know if Alvarado could have pressed the action the whole fight. He took a lot of clean shots to get to Marquez.

Floyd/Maidana had a very good undercard name wise. I enjoyed Khan/Collazo as well.

Saw part of the JMM fight. Happy for him I guess. I wonder who his next fight will be against. Maybe JMM-Pac 5?

Good fight (Marquez-Alvarado), but how did Lederman (not Julie) give Alvarado the 11th round? I guess he counted the "possible near knockdown stumble" as 1/2 a knockdown?

                    Yeah, very possible.

Good back and forth between Sergio Martinez and Cotto on Face Off With Max Kellerman. I'll be sure to watch "2 Days: Sergio Martinez" and "24/7 Cotto/Martinez" leading up to their June 7 PPV bout.

I'm less excited about the undercard, although it will be interesting to see the son of dynamite fisted Julian Jackson step it up against Andy Lee.

                    Jorge Melendez VS Yuri Foreman
Wilfredo Vazquez Jr VS Marvin Sonsona
                    Andy Lee VS John Jackson

Man, i'm really looking forward to that martinez cotto fight(would of rather seen that happen a little while back though, but still hyped.). But HBO seems to have some weak undercards. The big question for cotto martinez is which martinez will we see, with his knee problems and all. Im a fan of both fighters, so it's hard to say who i personally want to win, but if martinez is at 100% with no knee problems, i think he would very possibly stop cotto. But if he's not, it will be a very verry hard fight for him. And he didn't look that good in his last fight against macklin, but again that could of been because of the knee.

Sergio didn't look good against Murray, but he also broke his left hand, and came back too early from knee surgery. If any fighter needed more than a year off he did. I agree, if Martinez is 100% he will dominate a Cotto who was handily taken care of by Trout.

Here's the recent FaceOff I was talking about:

Does anyone know if this fight is free for HBO Canada?

                          EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like PPV.

Floyd Mayweather will be fighting next on September 13, 2014. With whom you like him to fight ?? Personally I would like him to fight against Pacquiao OR against Khan.

Pacquiao is not going to happen. Khan or Maidana are fine with me.

In no order Miadana, Khan, Thurman, Garcia, Cotto, Broner (just because he is the only guy who would make Floyd the "fan favorite" in the build up).

The number of compelling Floyd fights is small and gets smaller every 6 months.
