I don't know if he's ready, but I'd sure like to see it. Garcia versus Thurman, Porter, Maidana, Pac, or Brook? I'll be watching.

All for Garcia vs Thurman/Brook or even Brook vs Thurman. I like it when two undefeated fighters in their prime meet. It's very rare in fact, esp in this age of prize fighting where you can make good money without taking high risk fights.

PBC coming to toronto sept 11th will air in usa on spike and will be hosted by the ricoh coliseum close to where tfc matches are played and currently where the leafs farm team plays.

Floyd seriously needs to see a psychologist.
This is how he responded to Ronda Rousey's ESPY jab:

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me."

He equates any worth at all to how much money someone has.
Doesn't matter if the person is a repeat abuser of women, alcoholic, selfless saint,... in his mind, it's all about how much money the person has which determines if the person has any worth.

I can't remember which OS member mentioned this on these boards, but I believe that person was bang-on with his assessment.
Floyd gets no love or respect from his father. He knows the minute he's broke, or loses that perfect record, his dad will tell him he's not as good as he was.

I'm no Dr.Phil, but it seems obvious that since he grew up in a household devoid of love and nurturing, the only denomination that holds any worth in his world is cash.

I hope for his sake he's smarter this time around and learns to invest his money and doesn't end up broke and bankrupt again.
But I'd bet my last dollar that is exactly what will happen again.

He's got the entourage, expensive tastes, and likes to gamble, so I think there is a decent chance Berto is not his last fight.

I don't see him ending up broke/bankrupt, he spends alot of money and gambles a lot, but he also invest in alot and owns things like TMT promotions and gear. And he was hanging out with warren buffet and getting tips from him on investing.

And i don't think it's the how he grew up thing, i think he just has a big napoleon complex. He always has to have things his way and wants to be the one in charge.

Also he tends to suck with PR, like he could of just chose to ignore her or act like he doesn't know who she is again(although the first time he might not of actually known) or said she hasn't fought anyone, but instead, he pretty much goes "well i have more money tho".

Well, a did say ONE reason. I don't like ANY of the submission moves. That's not an indictment of the sport, just my measly opinion.....just not my cup of tea.

That being said I would be interested in Rousey and this Cyborg person.

EDIT: Clarify...Any striking that causes a submission (do they ever do that?) I'm all for.

Too be fair though, Ronda could just shut up and worry about her self and stop grandstanding about Floyd. It annoys me to no end when people take legit issues like domestic violence and try grandstanding or pretending like they care about the issue for the pub. If Rousey wants to champion the anti domestic violence cause then how about coming at Hope Solo's dome every chance she gets too?
