According to Lomo he is taking extra shots because he is fighting bigger guys with longer reach. Lomo will have to use the footwork to smother Lopez and get busy inside Im talking very busy. I believe Lopez has never taken the shots he will take on Saturday so we dont know how he will react. Also fighters who are use to KO's and dominating lose alot of courage when someone actually can take their shot and punish them at the same time. I am anxious to see Lopez weather his first storm.

Fellas weigh in tonight 5pm EST I find it interesting that 14 days out Lomo was 141 and Lopez was 142...So I dont know if Lomo put on too much weight or Lopez is draining himself because thats low to be this close to a fight..

I'm surprised Lomo is that big a favorite over Lopez but I would be hesitant to bet against him even at that price:

          Lomachenko (-440) VS Lopez (+350)

Teddy Atlas was on First Take this morning picking Lomo by decision but definitely analyzing his way in to giving Lopez a good shot.

I'm probably in the minority but I'm looking forward to this bout as much as Crawford-Spence.

Great points and I’m with you I’m looking forward to this fight more than Crawford vs Spence. I think Crawford is slipping and by the time he does fight Spence there wint be that aura surrounding him . This fight is full of technical skill speed power and hopefully heart true mega fight

Man that super-middleweight Berlanga hits 15 first round KOs in his first 15 fights!!

That's pretty good even against tomato cans.

Classic case of good big man always beating a good little man..Lopez size and power the deciding factor and Lomo showed way too much respect for 6 rounds he should have gotten inside from the jump...I am impressed by Lopez his heart is no longer in question but his dad is going to be his biggest problem,,,

I don't know about 119-109 (Julie Lederman) but I know Lopez won the fight. Since he won the last round the very best I could give Lomo was 5 rounds which with clean scoring would be 115-113. The best score any of the judges gave him was 112-116 (winning 4 rounds out of 8).

                    No controversy here.

Yeah Teo is just too big-To Lomo's credit he did stage a comeback.

I wonder if Mikey Garcia will try him or would 135 be too hard for him to make?

Lomo just gave away all of those early rounds. Too much of a mountain to climb back from.

Really good undercards on there though.

Thing that impressed me the most was that Teo remained composed throughout the fight and he nearly broke Lomo in half with those body shots the 12 th round. He will always be too big strong and fast for Lomo if Lomo tried to get in earlier he would’ve got knocked out..If they fight a rematch Teo is really beating him within 6 rounds. Lomo can say what he wants but he felt that kids power first round and didn’t want any parts of it until he had to fight to climb back in it..

I had it 7-5 teo, as many said, Loma can't 'start' that late, he just gave the fight away doing that, which was dumb. He could have got off more like the rd 2 straight lefts, that had a mental impact on Teo.

Anyway, I'm surprised Loma didn't talk about a rematch in his post fight interview - I'm turned off he doesn't want one, and that says a lot. Sure he could get KO'd, but the 2nd fight would be pure entertainment as Loma would be forced to fight earlier and Teo would probably more liberally go for the KO making such a great fight.

I hope they do it again as it could only be better than #1. But the fact that no one mentioned it is sort of telling. Teo was classy in his post fight I thought even going as far to mention Loma's long layoff as well sort of building in an excuse FOR LOMA. Overall though him and his dad's attitude sort of rub me the wrong way.

So I really hope we see a rematch I don't care who wins because it would be an epic display of talent and great fight!

I did really enjoy the fight though...after the 6th round lol

While I did enjoy the fight I just can’t see Loma beating Lopez at all. If he flips the script and tries to exchange early he gets knocked out. If that fight went one more round Loma was out. Those body shots wrecked him and if you look at it he was busted up early in the fight despite literally not exchanging for 6 rounds. I gave him 4 rounds at most but he was always in danger..I think with becoming a champ Lopez has even more confidence and he knows he can get to Loma ..there is a reason why Loma ain’t hyping for a rematch

Lomo could very well not want a rematch but since his camp excluded a rematch clause it's Teo that is saying there will be no rematch. He's even talking about campaigning for the 140 crown.

I wouldn't blame Lomo for not wanting another go-around with this guy -the size differential was stark and he's only getting older. Add to that the guy he's facing has a couple of bazookas at his disposal.
