Might be in the minority on this, but I would love to see AJ vs Wilder.
I think it has potential for fireworks and I do believe Wilder wins that fight. AJ doesn't have the skills Fury possesses and while he is likely to outbox Wilder for the majority of the fight, Wilder will eventually land that right hand. And I don't see AJ recovering from that right-hand the way Fury did.

I agree with you on the result but I have no interest in Joshua anymore. I would love to see Wilder VS Usyk.

but ruiz needs a big name and wilder fits the bill....and IF ruiz knocks out wilder, he is immediately in the title shot conversation again. and IF wilder knocks out ruiz, so is he.

Ruiz has other options to set himself up for a Fury fight. I'd like to see him go up against Ortiz but I'd favor Ortiz.

It's hard for me to gauge his diminishment because Fury was such a step up in class from his previous opponents and the other in-between fight (Breazeale) was such a blow-away. I'll concede that the battering he took from Fury Saturday was the stuff that tragedies could be made out of and he certainly won't come out of this one in the plus column. We will know a little more his next fight.

I like Sanchez-why not fight Ortiz for the Cuban Heavyweight Championship?

i agree, jaybee...but you have to give wilder credit for taking on fury not once, but 3 times. he could have taken the easy road, taken the draw and pad his still undefeated record knowing that his best punch couldn't knock fury out (and it appears never will). and poor joshua missed out losing against two albeit smaller opponents and ruining his chance at one big showdown against fury, much less 3.

I think what Fury did to Wilder is because Fury is much more special than many could have been imagined due to his body type and personality.

Jaron "Boots" Ennis is a beast. I'm not sure I've ever seen a welterweight with that much power in both hands.

I've seen him generate tremendous power with right and left uppercuts and the punch that he knocked Lipinets out with shouldn't have produced that much power but it did.

He's a powerplant-Crawford and Spence won't fight him anytime soon.

lol first wilder personally hand picked fury for the first fight because he thought fury was the perfect opponent!! he had a name but was out of shape and out of boxing for 3 years!! he did not expect fury to actually compete much less draw or beat him!! fury was still at that time a questinable boxer!! after the first wilder fight was a draw wilder had no choice but to fight him again because all he heard was that fury won!! when fury demolished him the second fight he again had no choice but to fight him again!!! he made up excuses he backed himself into a corner!! he got ko this fight and now theres no
doubt !! those three fights cost him extra time on his career!! the legs are gone and his chin has reached the tipping point!! he has no
reflexes and at some point in boxing its too late to gain any reasonable boxing skills!! fury is not the best either at this point !! im betting on the young heavyweights changing the guard within the next two years!! Wilder thought he had a easy fight but got way more than he bargained for!! he cant take back that punishment!! it ruins a boxer!!

He certainly does he took thar fight on short notice as well!! that trainer he has should be applauded he stopped the fight at the right time and added years to Davis career!! Davis needs to move down a weight class but Benavides is the truth!! I would love to see a Canelo vs Bensvides war!!

WBC announced a few days ago it has plans to reduce the weight limit of its cruiserweight division from 200 to 190. When Canelo vs Makabu was revealed I figured there was going to be some kind of weight restriction.
Moving up to Cruiserweight is very daring, but Alvarez and his team aren't stupid. They will make sure he has some kind of assurances.
Alvarez comes in weighing around 185 come fight time.
I'm sure Makabu will be forced to weigh under 190 by noon on the day of the fight. So the weight difference isn't going to be as dramatic as some initially thought.

The "Rehydration Clause" that was in effect for Canelo-Kovalez was 185 (for both fighters) the morning of the fight. The day before weigh-in was at the light heavyweight limit of 175. Certainly favored the smaller Alvarez.

If the fight is held at 190 it seems the "morning of the fight" weigh-in would be set at 200 for both fighters. This would serve Makabu a double whammy; a more severe weight class drop and a rehydration limit.

I am not a big fan of either but I do think porter will dirty up the fight enough to make it close or even win!! i hate porters style of fighting hit and hold or rush and hold!! that style will lways keep him in fights and will give the illusion of close fights!!

The SportsBook at my local casino just opened up and I was thinking about making a small BET on what round group Crawford would knock out Porter. I was looking for an OS consensus but only one person voted on the poll, LOL. Despite Crawford's lethalness high odds are available because Porter has never been KOed-of course you have to pick the three round area (1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12) too. I realize Porter's awkward bull rush style could give problems but he could also walk (or rush) into something.

I dont know but to me crawford has been sliipping his last two fights and I dont think he is the inside fighter that spence is and porter made that close!! Crawford is also the naturally smaller man and I think porter is strong enough to hit hold wear him down and survive!!
