Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
there allready was a petition a few years ago https://www.change.org/p/electronic-...ew-fight-night
not EA cared, nor anybody else. if a company/publisher thinks they can make money out of a new boxing-game, they'll sure produce and release one. Licensing all boxers seperately is probably the biggest (financial) issue in boxing.Comment

And Sony? Not sure why they should do that, except having a exclusive PS4-Boxing game which could lead to more PS4-Console salesComment

Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
i'm with you.....but neither EA Sports nor 2k are releasing SportsTitles without any (or just a few) licenses...except something towards the idea you had with Creed-Boxing maybe with a CAB-Editor included.

Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
maybe a boxing-game >2017 must be seen from an other perspective, more from the persepective as a 'BoxStall' (? you know, the people who sign boxers and organize deals and fights for them) and you manage/simulate all the stuff behind the curtains and finally take the controller in your hands and fight your way to the top with all the boxers you signed - could played offline or online as competition or E-Sports.
wait, promoter is probably the word i was looking for, you know, when oscar de la hoya was trying to make the fight GGG vs Canelo happen and then the belt went without any fight to GGGLast edited by TripleJay_X; 03-13-2017, 11:51 AM.Comment

Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
the downside would be probably a dumbed down aracde-styled boxing game. i can remember that rocky-game on the ps2 haha---that was pure button smashing

Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
). If you really want to get more attention, i would try it@the UFC Forum here, lots of old FightNighters probably there. I'm currently also playing UFC2, simply because there is no other similar quality-game to boxing

Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
~350 views is not really a 'highlight-thread' Those people who signed in the first petition are meanwhile playing other games, like myself....so there is no need and time to run after something which was declined a few years ago. i signed the petition today (they didn't seem to like my mailinator-fakemail for some reason when i tried a few days back). Re: Please Support the Boxing Videogame Campaign Petition
with the ufc popularity slightly waning at this point, they could release a fight night edition and i don't think any ufc fans would complain much about it. i'm willing to bet EA looks at posts and threads on here to keep up to date on what sports gamers are talking about and what features we are looking for in new sports game releases.Poe is an advocate for realistic boxing videogames.Comment
