Appreciate your efforts. I've been a fan of boxing video games since forever. Just signed the petition.

That is bad. This is the emulation, but it sums up the stunning graphics and awesome gameplay.

This petition isn't going to make any difference. It's the same as the one that is trying to get 2K to make another football game. It can get millions of signatures but will be lucky to break a million in sales. Boxing just isn't popular anymore. You would have to rely on getting guys like Floyd, and Tyson to sign on to the project just to have a chance to get the casual fan to even try the game. Also you go out ask a random 100 people to name one boxing champion right now, my guess is maybe 1 gives a right answer. I know for sure I couldn't. The only boxing match most casual fans will care about in the next 5-10 is Floyd-Mayweather. None of this GGG dude or anyone else. It's a fight between a UFC champion and a dude who has retired from boxing. That should tell you about the popularity of boxing right now.

Thurman-Garcia just pulled in 5.1 million viewers on free CBS, and Showtime and HBO have had their PPV and regular boxing programs going on for years with no end in sight. You have SkyBox in the UK bringing in millions for boxers like Klitschko, Frosh and Khan and you have very marketable fighters in Canelo and even Chavez, Jr. The point is that internationally and domestically boxing has thrived and proven marketable-if it wasn't it wouldn't exist. That international reach is important because video games are sold internationally. You can't just look up the low PPV for GGG-Jacobs (which just came out today) and summarily dismiss boxing as not being popular.

Make a great boxing game and the masses will come.

did you guys hear about this World Super Series Boxing? http://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news...ng-tournament/

This with a new boxing game could probably raise the popularity for boxing again, maybe not from one day to the other, but boxing needs to start showing the people, Who is the Man/who are the Mans in todays Boxing? Seriously, a retired Mayweather fighting an UFC Champ or an old retired Tyson as a represent of Boxing Sport 2017? Not really, imo.

As a 'marketing-guy' i would say -> World Super Series Boxing and a Quality Boxing-Game at the same time....but actually i'm not one

in the past decade, when people were confused and asking 'Who is the Champion?', there was just one answer....KLITCHKO

                Signed the petition.

I'd settle for a ps4 remaster of Fight Night Champion. Loved that game, should have kept my ps3 just for this game.

If they make it for ps4 i'm getting it.

Interesting, two eight man tournaments with the winner of each division pocketing $10 million. I like that it's single elimination, three victories in a row get you the money and the Muhammad Ali Trophy.

Won't start for over a year (May 2018), but in the next few weeks we should know which two weight classes will be participating.

i like the idea of this too.....basically earning the money through victories as opposed to commanding money because of a name or record. it's called prize fighting for a reason.

There should be money involved for the ones who don't win the whole thing. $20 million for the winners of the two weight divisions and $30 million to split among the other 14 fighters. That's assuming the $50 million put-up is legit. I can't wait to see which divisions they pick (will one of them be 147?).

                        This!

I do not need licensed boxers, just a good boxing game!

Glad you signed the petition, but I wouldn't be satisfied with a remaster of that game, in my case for the Xbox One.

But I know where you're coming from because I would be satisfied with a remaster, built-in player editor, and franchise mode for All Pro Football 2K8.

yes...of course. but it sure does make it more interesting when the fighters have to earn the big prize money. wonder what the broadcasting will be like for this tournament.

it sure would be nice to have FightNightChampion on my PS4PRO instead of the PS3 which i still got lying around here, but the main reason i stopped playing FNC is due to an AI not able to fight inside properly (especially with a lower reach) and any CAB's didn't work in Career-Mode - it freezed the game... and i'm not the only one.

So yeah, i wouldn't be satisfied either with a remaster if it wouldn't fix the main issues with the game. I have so many other games to play instead to stick with something buggy sold as a remaster

EA doesn't want to create boxing games because they believe it will cut into the sales of their UFC game.
