FWIW, there was some interview (from an EA-CEO i believe) mentioning that FNC does have a future, but currently they are focusing on UFC. So, maybe after UFC3 .... around 2020?
But there was also a interview mentioning they want to try mobile first.
I can't find the articles anymore, but well, not sure anyway, if it still has some importance as things are today.
But yeah, a partnership with Sony&2k would be great deal for a boxing-game. 2k has atleast a bit experience with combat-sports like WWE2k....well, incase you can name wrestling a combat-sport hehe lol
