Honestly, the only one of those I've seen alot is the backwards power slam and I've seen that about once every 3 fights in my experience. On CPU v. CPU, I saw it a ton but playing against the AI I saw more single and double leg takedowns.

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
This is so disappointing. I came on here hoping to hear better news cause you guys always give it to me straight. I knew EA would ruin this game, loved undisputed and this is five steps backwards. Typical ea fashion, game looks very pretty , game play sucks. They focus on off the cage jumping punches, wwe power slams and then neglect the most basic things..... No sprawls, a completely flawed stamina system, every fighter rushing in and fighting the same way, this is a ****ing streetfighter ufc game.
I had cancelled my preordered after the demo was out, then reordered trying to stay positive..... Now I want to cancel again lolComment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
The Rousey fight was fantastic and had this talked about MMAi. She fought near herself and even finished both fights her signature way.
The last fight I watched, the Evans vs Cormier was not a bad fight either. I would of liked to see Cormier hold Evans down easier when he did get top control but I think that had more to do with the difficult level. On hard I would of bet getting out from under him would of been tough.
Another thing I liked is the stamina on realistic time setting. It looks how you would expect stamina to be, but the problem is punch output numbers so high that fights will never see a decision or to a 5th round.
If they could give us a patch that adjusts the CPU AI to slow down when you change the time setting it would be perfect.
Accelerated clock ON = Leave AI strike numbers as is (maybe lower a tad)
Real time ON = AI strike numbers drop drastically to mimic real round strike totals.
Then most of us would be satisfied!Comment

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I don't get it. Why do people get satisfaction for creating their own fighters that would never match the real life MMA fighters, let alone act, fight, and behave like a real MMA fighters. Why not leave this for the developers? Do you get satisfaction by pretending they're real? lol
SpoilerSee how that works? Some people like playing online and others don't. I'm not sure why some of you are so worried about how others enjoy their game. I mean, I wish that I could care about online more, but I just don't because it doesn't do anything for me. Just like in NBA 2K I would much rather play an offline Association that online against randoms. With this game we don't have that choice, so our only way to get an Association type experience is to go old school and do it ourselves. I haven't played against any randoms online since NCAA 02 on the PS2. It's just not something that I care about. I know others do. They want to work their way up the virtual ranks so they can all brag to their friends. Which is fine if that's what they enjoy, but personally when I see someone that's ranked highly all I think is a) "what exploits do they know so they can win so much?" and b) "how many 7 and 8 year old's has this guy beaten?"
So like I said different strokes for different folks.
I do think that there is hope for "sim" guys who play the game the right way, but online ranked? LOL! Forget that!My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I'm sorry but that kind of business practice puts a terrible taste in my mouth and is partly to do why EA has been voted worst company. These kind of things catch up and leave a reputation.
You take all of their sport titles and throw a company equally as large with similar financial power to develop along side as competition, you would see less of these things OR they would slowly crumble due to poor customer satisfaction. Only thing holding the glue together for their sports departments is the fact EA has enough financial power to keep customer options limited to only them. Which most of us will at least want our "fix" of our favorite sports video games anyway we can get it. Sucks, but this is how it will be from 2014 on
I want to see the Sony team truly invest in the sports arena. I feel they are the only current company with a shot of attacking EA both on a developing level and financial.Last edited by Phobia; 06-13-2014, 08:55 AM.Comment

EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
Oh. I thought you took my goofy take serious. My apologies JoeMimic
Nothing really surprises me anymore with these companies nowadays. It's not about taking care of the customers and standing by there product. It's getting worse and of all the company's that produce games EA is by far the worst IMO

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
The origin account is connected to my psn account so I have two choices:
1) Create a new psn account (with plus) so that I can access the online part of EA games.
or
2) Just not play EA games online.
The only thing that really sucks is Gameface is a part of Origin so I cant make accurate CAFs without it. I may just bite the bullet and create a new PSN account since my playstation plus is running out on my old one.Comment
