Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread

Thank you AHolbert for all the impressions. You've moved me from a day one buy to a gamefly rental.

Any chance you could list some of the music actually in the game to select from? Menu music if there is any?

    Thanks again sir.

LOL...I just tweeted him back. This is the sort of stuff that makes me hate companies like EA. I could understand if I was ****ting on the game or playing it in some kind of weird way.

Also, this is the sort of thing that makes me want to put on my legal hat and see if banning me is allowed under their terms of use. I was motivated to do that before I found out how easy it is to get back and running on the ps4. Now im like whatever.

The old me would just start streaming again and just keep switching accounts but I'm old and lazy now. People got to see enough of the game to know what they are getting into before they buy it.

Banning only matters if its a hassle. To be honest, the biggest mistake I made was letting the EA forums know but I didnt think it would be a big deal since the game is all over the internet and E3. If I ever do it again, I'll keep it within OS.

But Aholbert didn't have it a week before release. Don't see how they can't get days of the week right.

But seriously, why are these people so concerned? Are they afraid people will see what they said was in the game......isn't?

I always think it's funny that the people we pay (let's not forget that) get bothered by the consumer.

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread

EA is wack as hell for banning you, but I expect nothing less out of them. I appreciate you streaming yesterday, I was able to watch most of it. I know you're not a big online guy, but hopefully you're able to get some matches in over the weekend once a few more people start getting it early. I'm really interested to hear if the games are smooth online and how it plays out in general. I'm already locked in to get this regardless, but I'm certainly curious.

Usually it's Twitch that bans/closes channels for this (and that's in their ToS, and they're well within their rights to do so). Not the company who makes the game. Kind of surprised by that move.

Yes! Thats exactly it. You think this 10 CAFs **** wouldve come out before release? **** no. They have reviewers on an embargo until Tuesday. You think the music lie wouldve come out? Nope. The plan is to keep it hidden until after the midnight sales/downloads.

Thats what shocked me. I expected my Twitch feed to be cut or banned which I basically didnt care about. I've only used it twice. Whats funny is the first time I used it Best Buy sold me Live 14 5 days before release and I played that on my feed.

OS needs someone at E3 playing these games and asking the hard questions, rather than people kissing butts and throwing up softballs.

I wont kill my OS brethren. E3 is a hard place to ask any questions nevertheless hard ones. There is so much to do its hard to get time to speak to devs and to get straight answers from them.

I'll see what I can do. There are 20 people online but no one is fighting.

I'm actually working on perfecting CAFs right now so I may not play the game much tonight.
