    THIS!

I'm still bummed about 10 CAFs too. I have little faith that the DLC will fill that void.

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread

It's in Miami early, so I got it yesterday & was able to play 6 matches so far ranked and went 4-2 losing 2 of my first 3 before my nice win streak.

One win by sub where other player didn't try to escape. One flash KO Anderspn front kick to DC and 2 decisions with Cat Zingano vs Rousey.

I realized in my first match, (jones vs jones)
that since you can't see your opponents fighter in ranked people always will pick Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey

Career is fun, I like the way they set up everything especially the in camp between fights training is simple and feels not like a cheat, it's 3 mini games and then the fight

Online tournaments looks like the mode no one will play unless they are in some online league.

It's lobby system is like that of an ea ultimate team tournament where you won't find a match unless someone has picked the same tournament and the same division!

The parry system online vs good players makes the game remind me of ea mma with people swatting your strikes out of the air.

Overall I say 8.5/10 for their first attempt

They need to add fighter share,
      online camps,
sways instead of parrys (not the current sway system they have)

I am in the same boat. I have to believe that EA will patch the game and keep improving it over the next two years

I just watched a twitch feed of a real time round and the stamina was looking great.

I sure wish online was not accelerated clock.

if you guys patch this game so that we can have the OPTION to edit fighters' ratings AND add 3 simple sliders for offline play
(chin/damage, stamina, strike output).....This game would probably be amazing, I really hope it is possible.

So many fighting scenarios can happen:

            1) fighting cpu machida on hard....if i get overaggreasive, he's gonna move and counter me all night long so you are FORCED to look for your spots for openings and takedowns. because if you miss too much, stamina would.drain.and you are susceptible for a counter KO.

            2) fighting as bisping against henderson, just as in real life: you will be FORCED to.fight super cautiously because your chin rating is now 35 instead of 70. if you use henderson, you're going tto be FORCED to not spam takedowns.and H bombs, because his.stamina is now 32 instead of 64 and if you fight too hard you would be gassed out by the 3rd round.

            3) fighting against pettis, you will look.for the.takedowns, because tthe weakness is there...

that's why these 3 sliders have to be there ccollectively. 2 out of 3 is as good as nothing and let me.explain:

            Chin/damage slider and stamina.slider only:

the cpu fighters will have lower chins and lower stamina. but their strike.output is the same. so what happens? the cpu will still throw 100 punches a round but be gasaed out after 1 round.

FNC champion gave ua the tools and i edited.the game heavily to.achieve realistic and challenging cpu ai

a good sim game is something that recommends the user to play realistically to.achieve consistent success. An example is fifa 14...ya you can run run turbo pass shoot tackle...but youre not going to win many games vs the cpu on world class.....so how do you win??

you play posession soccer with safe paases and build up....JUST as you need to do in real life soccer.

            thanks

Nice post, only other slider I would be interested in is Strike Accuracy. I feel they tend to land a little too often, but thts could be due to lack of head movement as well

I haven't played the game yet, but from what I've seen in videos and read on these forums, the game looks awesome. EA UFC is one of the reasons I'll be getting a PS4 ASAP.

Yeah I am torn on this one too. Guess I just gotta get the game and experiment myself.

Real time clock stamina looks better but I doubt you will many decisions, especially in five rounders

I might have to go with accel clock just for the decisions but we will see how it turns out....

I'll say it again. Not the LEAST bit surprised in any way that the game has turned out to be this.

100% expected from the worst company in history.

Havnt read through all this topics but from what I have seems like people are disappointed?

Also how is the damage. Is it healed up in just a few seconds like the demo

Bro, THANK YOU so much for this review. Can you elaborate a bit more on the online tournament mode you mentioned though? Do you fight against random people in that mode or can you set it up with friends/league members etc???

Also, can you use CAFs online in ranked matches or no?

Some more streams are live right now. Apparently the usual stores in the usual parts of the country broke street date as always like they do with every game.

Odds are anyway people will only pick the very best guy in each weight. Like always

Yes but I need to know if he picked an overpowered wrestler or overpowed striker
