Is there a Practice mode similar to UFC 3 where I can practice solely ground game (for example) against A.I. set at a High difficulty? I loved being able to perfect my timing against the highest difficulty in practice mode where you dont take any damage.

- I think one of the best things you guys can do to take away the perception that every fighter is hyper aggressive is to change how they start the first round. In EVERY fight, the CPU comes storming out throwing heavy punches. Having them lay back a little would definitely help to balance that.Comment

Have a career mode question
Does it feel like a "living world", what i mean is are you aware of what other fights/events are going on in ufc, when/if you get a title shot will it always be against the default champion or does it change during your career.Comment

Good stuff. Just spent the last hour and a half reading through this thread. Missed the Twitch broadcasting, unfortunately, but heard enough. Bummed out about a lot of things in regards to what the game is lacking (most of all, sliders probably, an event mode), but I'm still excited for it. This game was (is) one of my main reasons for getting an Xbox One, and just about three days from now I'll be ready for it.Comment

I've got to say with all that I've read, I'm still pretty excited for the game! I lie somewhere between a hardcore sim guy and arcade guy on this one...I get both sides of the argument to a degree. So I'm still pretty pumped!! Thanks GameDev giving us your insight as well, it's really appreciated.

if you guys patch this game so that we can have the OPTION to edit fighters' ratings AND add 3 simple sliders for offline play
(chin/damage, stamina, strike output).....This game would probably be amazing, I really hope it is possible.
So many fighting scenarios can happen:
1) fighting cpu machida on hard....if i get overaggreasive, he's gonna move and counter me all night long so you are FORCED to look for your spots for openings and takedowns. because if you miss too much, stamina would.drain.and you are susceptible for a counter KO.
2) fighting as bisping against henderson, just as in real life: you will be FORCED to.fight super cautiously because your chin rating is now 35 instead of 70. if you use henderson, you're going tto be FORCED to not spam takedowns.and H bombs, because his.stamina is now 32 instead of 64 and if you fight too hard you would be gassed out by the 3rd round.
3) fighting against pettis, you will look.for the.takedowns, because tthe weakness is there...
that's why these 3 sliders have to be there ccollectively. 2 out of 3 is as good as nothing and let me.explain:
Chin/damage slider and stamina.slider only:
the cpu fighters will have lower chins and lower stamina. but their strike.output is the same. so what happens? the cpu will still throw 100 punches a round but be gasaed out after 1 round.
FNC champion gave ua the tools and i edited.the game heavily to.achieve realistic and challenging cpu ai
a good sim game is something that recommends the user to play realistically to.achieve consistent success. An example is fifa 14...ya you can run run turbo pass shoot tackle...but youre not going to win many games vs the cpu on world class.....so how do you win??
you play posession soccer with safe paases and build up....JUST as you need to do in real life soccer.

The funny part of it all is I still can't wait to play the full retail version. I can talk and debate a game like it's a vital piece of earth's well being, but in the end I want to have a good time. Especially with online, where I'm sure I will scratch my head and wonder, "why EA, why," but I look forward to it and enjoy what it is.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Great post philly! To follow up on that UFCDev, we are talking a two year cycle between this UFC game and the next, please attempt at having sliders and rating adjustments patched in. This would give us the ability to give the game great legs to survive in our consoles those long two years.
