Definitely needs more takedown struggles and scrambles speed up the ground game it seems like no one wants to fight on the ground and avoid it at all cost, most players just want the stand and bang .. like there’s no incentive to take The fight to the ground.

LOLomg, it was in UFC 1? I remember so little from it and I had it for a few months before getting rid of it. I really get NO thrill or joy from the current sub system at all. Zero sub wins still I think, it feels NOTHING like a submission battle at all.

Since the next patch will focus on grappling, I felt reviving this thread will be useful.

Pull gaurd from clinch over under/ double under
Make submissions alittle bit more achievable ( im not very good at them ) so maybe its just me lol

The only reason I hate fighting on the ground is because 80% of the time,I get subbed,and this is just against the A.I. on normal. If I secure a takedown or I stuff a takedown and end up in sprawl dominant,I usually get right back up because all it takes is the computer advancing position one time and blocking my attempt to get up and it'll sap so much stamina from me just for attempting to get up one time that it'll basically be an automatic submission. For me it's not even worth the risk even though if I get side control it's pretty much a guaranteed win once I throw 4 or 5 elbows
