Look at the end of the day it’s an uncertain auction you buy packs but you don’t know what you’re getting so like last year you could end up with a bunch of duplicates and not get your moneys worth this year it seems even worse because what you purchase only has a limited use.. at least with an auction your bidding to buy a known product with this type of micro transaction it’s completely up to the developers to barely give you enough of what you’re looking for!
I know these Micro transactions are to increase revenue and that’s understandable but when the consumer is basically putting money into a slot machine of cards and hoping they actually receive something worth paying for it’s called exploiting the consumer... it’s just funny how no one on EA is addressing these concerns when they had that whole fiasco was Star Wars,
I just asked are we going to get squeezed for every penny?
EA you have made a good game now don’t ruin it with these micro transactions rely on your base product and advertisement to put you in the black , because these micro transactions are getting ridiculous all across the board of gaming!!!

You are a game changer and you dont know the difference between the modes? Maybe we need new game changers......

The mode is horrific... Its a 100% money grab.. Everything from how all your perks now expire to having 0 customization, you cant even pick for your caf to be stand up or ground... its auto decided for you... Every1 is pulling same caf's, 100 nate diaz's out there fighting in a mode that is supposed to let me create my team and not same old boring fighters we have in "fight now" mode....

Its like playing madden and forcing my player to only control running back and not the QB, makes no sense, if i dont pull a stand up fighter, then im forced to grapple or stand with a 50 striker stat fighter, makes no sense.

I want to have a karate based fighter, what i do? Buy 300000 packs and hope for the best? SMFH

This is starwars battlefront all over again, guess they haven't learned their lesson yet.

This is exactly what I’m saying after the Star Wars fiasco which I was so excited for that game then got completely pissed off when I seen how much they wanted for the heroes to the point where I haven’t even touch the game again...I don’t know why EA would take this route for with the EAUFC community..It was slowly being introduced last year with UT but now they went full on Scrooge McDuck$$$

It’s simple. As long as people are paying, they will continue to implement micro transactions as much as they can. I don’t think it’s right but being a multi-billion dollar company, money is tight and hard to find.

Crazy thing is I’m not against micro transaction if you want a secret character or a skin and you want to pay for it that’s fine my problem is with the randomness of these loot boxes and fighter packs it actually genuinely is like playing jackpot box you never know what you’re going to get it truly is similar to gambling... show me an apple I’ll pay for the Apple show me a banana I’ll pay for a banana but don’t charge me five bucks and say you might get a banana or an apple or maybe neither.. be specific on what you’re selling not the chance of what I might receive..

It's gambling and EA is becoming the #1 predator in gaming.


Seriously, kids are literally spending thousands of dollars on this stuff.


It's messed up man, I am glad I grew up in the days of getting a game on release with all its content and not having to pay an extra 20 bucks to unlock stuff.

Im definitely at the "wait and see" stage. As long as people can't just buy more slots, it should be okay. But I'm still not too happy with roster fighters being in it.

I’m trying to be optimistic because in the Star Wars thank case they try to pull they finally apologized and reduce the price nonetheless I I was still salty about it and I never touch the game again but I’m hoping if they hear our voices now before the game gets released they will actually consider how The keyboard and word-of-mouth goes and retract the scam they’re trying to pull on us now...
Just asking EA to be honest with us and respect us as consumers especially those who have been loyal to you for years!!

Even games don't cost 60 anymore. Ever since PS4 came out game prices have skyrocketed into the 80-100 range.
