When you have someone rocked and they block, throw 3 straight punches and then one hook or opposite, 3 hooks and one straight. This will break their guard and increase your chances of finishing the fight.

I always get too excited when I hurt someone, combine that with slight lag and I evemn have issues actually throwing 3 straight and then a hook, no issues offline since everything happends exactly as you press the buttonn. Staying calm helps me win.

Was DOMINATING a fight yesterday playing perfectly (only standup entire fight) and with 20 sec left in the 3rd round I thought, hey lets go for a takedown just for the heck of it.. ...guess who ducked into a uppercut and got knocked the **** out... lol. It would usually drive me insane, but there´s just something beautiful about perfectly timed shots, even if you´re the one getting ****ed.

What´s a good way to learn how to deal with legkick spam?

Sometimes I time a cross that hurts them bad, but not often enough. If I try low block I usually **** up and get kicked in the head.

Does it boil down to me not being able to read when a legkick is coming compared to highkick good enough yet? Or is there something specific I could practise?

Can anyone tell me how to do the Back Mount to Back Sitting transition? Trying this transition out with Maia and the controls say to move the Right stick the left when in Back Mount but that transition takes me to Back Side. Is there something I'm missing about this specific transition?

Same here. I'm 100% sure it's a possible transition; I've seen this exact transition happen on a Twitch stream back in Early Access.

The only two ranked fights I've lost are because of not understanding how to defend when mounted. This **** is making me want to murder an inanimate object. Pls help.

I get rolling to your back is a strategy but is going for arm traps even worth it? It seems that if it doesn't work I just eat punches to the face and get finished. Advice pls.

Never back off, always pressure. It’s how you deal with kickers in general.

What's the difference between the Regular Grapple HUD and the Competitive Grapple HUD (custom fight now option)? I thought competitive might disable the "Defend" prompt on the HUD like it does in multiplayer, but that doesn't seem to be the case?

The armtrap subs take wayyyyy too long to initiate for a skill based move for 4 gates

From feet on hips, you can transition to side control.

Knees followed by elbows spammed over and over is hard to deal with. I meet someone in quick match last night who did it with Bobby Green over and over walking forward.

It was so hard to deal with. I was able to rock them with Justin Gaethje using upper cuts but it was very tough.

The last guy who did that to me made me mad so I just spammed knee after knee after knee and eventually destroyed him
It’s pointless to try to make a spammer fight real sometimes you have to drop to there level and spam cheese if they’re going be lame.

This is true, but it’s not impossible to beat someone who is cheesing using proper technique. Usually it involves keeping your distance, so try that and work from there.
