Again no disrespect to him but all he was showing was knee spam he got taken down side kicked jab pressured head kicked etc. I subbed him though in one fight the first round because I was so pissed off that I was playing a gc who would actually do that. Remember when I said most top guys use exploits. Anyone who watches will witness this. Proving my point. I stayed on him with grappling and the jab in our fights because well that beats the knee. Remember fellas when these top guys put you down I was a div 4 bum and i put in the work to improve. His play style was shockingly toxic. Where is he? Why isnt he defending himself? Why do grown men speak for him?

So the matches in total were like 50 min so I split them up into two parts. First part is almost done processing (if it's not bugged - I may have to reupload). My thoughts on what happened -
          • This was my first time fighting 1212. Not familiar with him or his style at all. I DID underestimate him a little based on what I've heard from other people and based on his quite frankly bad ranked record.

          • He isn't terrible as a lot of people say. I should have been more cautious. He beat me with some sh*t that pissed me off in a couple of the matches so I fought mad in some of the fights.

          • WHILE not terrible, I also think his style is really cheesy and ugly. Spinning elbows. Spinning body kick / head kick 50/50's. Trying to trap me in MT plum as long as possible to get body rocks. Getting a quick and dirty sub with Ortega despite the fact that we are trying to prove some kind of point about the standup portion of the game. I'm not going to sit here and be a sore loser, he won 3-2. BUT I also don't think his points weren't proven & if anything mine were. He could threaten with spins just about every time I came forward, for instance and get mondo damage if he guessed right and I guessed wrong.

          • We were 2-2 going into the last fight and I just smashed him with Izzy at MW. He messages me going "Can we fight at LHW?" I did this for him despite that I never fight there. I ALSO went FW despite the fact that I knew he would try to sub me. I knew the dangers, so no excuses from me. I went ahead and did these things, but I will mention them here for clarity.

          • My fault on this, but when he slapped on the sub with Ortega, I accidentally hit the Start button on the xbox controller when trying to get out. This is my first week on Xbox and that was one of my first time stick wiggling to get out on the controller. On the PS4, the Share & Options buttons are INDENTED into the controller specifically to make them hard to hit. On the Xbox, they stick right up. You guys will see in the video. Again, that was my fault, but it was a factor.

          • For some reason 1212 also insisted on playing on his alt account. Not a big deal to me but kind of cowardly. He wouldn't say why he didn't want to play on his main. He actually told me it WAS his main and kept spamming "Invite invite invite." I think in the event that he lost, he wanted plausible deniability that it wasn't him (maybe).

Oh so you didnt spam knees and do the very thing your accusing me of vs my diaz?

Bro after the first fight you deserved what you had coming to you. I had to be in and out while pressuring so you wouldn't knee me. Its even in the highlights.

Anyone watch this vid yet? Questions/Comments:

I always thought when you "spam" something, its kind of constant, right? For example, when people complained about 1-2 spam, it was someone who was CONSTANTLY throwing 1-2s. Did you guys see that with the knee?

In the second fight, he immediately went for a takedown so I dont know how that was in reaction to spam. Kind of looks like he was mad he lost and wanted to make sure he got a win.

              Bakc to watching.

Extremely disappointed with that first part

Laurie definitely called it. Y’all were making it personal instead of focusing on defensive fighting vs pressure.

I was hoping to see Zombie utilize the OP diagonal backward walk and for headkick to turn into Gaethje.

Diaz vs. Cerrone you got sucess when u start to pressure him with 123b + knee zombie, you won but u had to change your game to pressure to have true advantage, 1-0 for pressure being more effective than outside

Yep...all ego. Nothing was really proven. Disappointing.

                      Wot?!

1212 was supposed to pressure him. Not the other way around. 1212 is being pressured because he is conceding the middle of the octagon. Opposite of pressure. That is what pressuring is, not giving space.

                            Thank you.

For at least the first two rounds I did in fact fight on the outside, use slips, use multiple teeps to keep him away, gassed him out.

At some point when he started getting beat up, he began back pedaling. This actually saved his *** in the GSP fight. If he had come forward, he would have been DEAD. But he stayed back, survived numerous onslaughts, caught me with a spinning body kick as I came forward (that shifted the momentum of the fight) and then grappled me to get a knee TKO.

So much for pressure? Womp womp.

If the guy starts to LOSE and then shifts to "Oh ****, I'm gonna run away now to live" and then I come forward... I'm a pressure spammer? Ok.

Here is the second part of the vid again since it got buried at the bottom of the last page:

Cerrone vs gsp same again, when 1212 was the pressure guy he was the better guy, when zombie(by the third I think) started to chase and pressure 1212 he was the better one , pressure seems stronger than outside

This post is why I initially wanted to stay focused on mechanics only. These videos ultimately become Rorschach tests. People see what they want.

1212 got beat up coming forward. Started backpedaling. Stayed near the cage to survive. Wouldn't come forward. If I don't go forward, there is no fight at all.

And notice in pretty much every fight he tries to grapple me, completely defeating the purpose of the experiment anyways.
