Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
Sorry I mean transition denials. I think people are thinking they will be tweaked, so that the whole ground game isn't based on denials to gain grapple advantage .Comment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
Probably typed that wrong or didn’t understand but in real your not waiting then deny waiting then hit the head and body then try to pass then deny. Both fighters are trying to pass , hit the other to not “gain advantage to fill a bar” but to get the opponent thinking about something else other than passing or trying to do damage, bottom fighter has to control the wrists and make some moves to get to a better position and there a lot more that goes into it but I’m not going to explain over the phone how grappling works to someone that probably hasn’t trained in his/her life. The way grappling denials are in UFC 3 isn’t right that’s what I’m commenting on and there could be a more innovative way to pass guard other than filling a bar or something. UFC 4 sounds like they got it right but I’m going to have to see

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
So big that it doesn't make the company a profit?
So big that the company loses money making it?
No, that would mean there wouldn't be any updates or sequels. Or even worse the game would get cancelled and you wouldn't get any UFC games at all.
So you probably want the game to make a profit.
So to get a bigger budget we should probably try and make it sell more right?
OK so how do we do that.
Well, we could either add cage seated, or an all new ground and pound system and some super crazy arenas that will draw tons of attention to the product.
See how we got right back to square one?Comment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
Not sure if this has been asked yet, (or if it can even be answered) but I got a question for the new VFX that were revealed. Do we have an option to turn those new effects off? The red borders around the screen and the new echo sound that were talked about when your fighter is hurt.Comment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
I had a question before, but i will repeat it. Do we have the ability to edit the stats and movesets for roster fighter this time around? Also have you guys fixed the broken ground movesets yet which have been present in all three games?
What i mean by that, is something like when a roster fighter has gogoplata from rubberguard in his in arsenal but doesn't have rubberguard transition to even perform the gogo sub.
This is one of the reasons why we need editing movesets.Comment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
In the rest of the clip I noticed a body shot that was a little more extended than in the 3rd game (love the ripple effects.) Also the hooks in general look like they have much more range now with an almost fully extended arm swinging, and the way the fist connects looks much more natural and less "perfect" if that makes sense. It looks almost vertical when it lands. Looks dope.Comment

I’m not saying nothing about the game you had a part in and I actually really love all the info I seen , I’ve been dying for info and I got it so no complaints. The work you and your team put into the grappling From the looks and sounds of it it will be amazing.
As for seated I could care less and you also said it was on the to do list so that’s awesome. if it was up to me I would 100000% choose that much needed revamp over one single move , it literally just makes the most sense lol. I have no clue what your budget was and how much resources you and your team had to work but in one of your comments it sounded like it wasn’t enough to bring everything which I understand. It’s a business and everyone has to work with what they got. I do believe you made the best decision. I was just saying I wish you and your team had more to work with because I know it would have helped but aye I get my wishes either way and I thank you for making the easy choice of choosing endless opportunities with the new grappling system over one move.
Lol if you would have left EA and only gave us one move to work with there would be more people crying [emoji23] but you left the team with a strong grappling foundation from what I’m hearing so props [emoji1360]Comment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
Honestly man ive lingered these forums for years, had a few short loved accounts and finally made this one to main it, and I do have to say that the fans of this game are far more **** giving to the devs, and sometimes straight up insult the dev's. I'm like "These dev's are some very responsive devs" but people still take it for granted.
Side note;
Bro KUMITE is in UFC 4... that's epic and a W right thereComment

Re: EA UFC 4 GPD Tweets
You know Geoff must love us deep down when he doesn't even work for EA anymore and STILL comes over here to explain stuff and take some heat from people.
I wonder if any of the Ground and Pound improvements have made their way into Finish the Fight sequences? Would be cool to have some options in these scenarios.Comment
