If you think these memes will hurt that man , you are sorely mistaken .

But what do I know I'm done with this thread.

In fact, I buy Fifa on PC simply because others are willing to tweak the game to make it more realistic. The game at default is pure unrealistic trash.

Now one of the reasons Fifa is more popular is because of EA's exclusivity with different leagues but the reality is EA's goal is never to create a hyper realistic product and in established games like FIFA it doesnt seem like globalization and popularity is forcing them to make a more realistic game.
Totally agree, FIFA sells a lot more than PES, even though the playability of PES is much better than that of EA's game, because even though Konami's game has a pretty good simulation, EA's game just by having the licenses from almost every major league in the world, that draws in the masses no matter how arcade and unrealistic the game may be.

Although I have played both games, I like Konami's game very much more, since FIFA gets tired of it very soon, due to its unrealistic dynamics.

And more than the Konami game, a lot can be solved by editing or patching.

That is what I regret about the UFC or any game of sports fighting, boxing, muay thai ... that we only have this option, without any alternative, that there is no other game, that is more simulator, even without any real fighter, Everything is editable so that we can create whatever we want, I would honestly buy it.

Then why wasn't ufc 1 better than undisputed 3? Thq didn't have much money but the quality and level of detail to their modes and ground and clinch animations were far higher then ea mmas and any mma game ea released. It felt more like a real fight. The quality of the games ea releases doesn't tend to improve very much over time. Fan loved features get stripped and never return. Ud3 had more custom animations then all the ufc games. Quality wise ftf knockouts ground game and just general presentation are still way far ahead of ea.

Did you buy the game? I'm hearing that you did which is dumbfounding considering all of the complaints you've made.

I'm praying this isnt true because if you paid $60 for this game...you are part of the problem.

At some point, the majority of the audience is going to be different than it is today in 2020. The majority say 5 to 10 years from now will hopefully know much more about the sport. Especially with the globalization of the sport, I believe this will have an impact on the overall audience's MMA IQ long term.

I know this is opposite of the way it should work, EA deciding to cater to us just straight away. EA has shown us that's Not how this is going to happen though. They will only move once forced by the majority of the fight fans.

Popularity and Globalization of the sport is our friend here. We have definitely lost this fight, no doubt about it. But the war is not lost yet. It's just going to take some time for globalization and popularity of the sport to raise the collective audience's MMA IQ.
I have to point something out that is fundamentally true about MMA fandom.

It is highly cyclical. Most fans come and go within 5 years. There are all these little moments where fans enter the sport with fighters that bring them in, and then basically leave with that generation of fighters as they retire.

They did it with the early UFC.
They did it with the first TUF 1 era.
It happened with the Brock Lesnar era.
It's processing out the Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor era fans as we speak.

Now, you will constantly get a fresh new cycle, so it isnt like the sport will fall off necessarily. But it doesn't grow the way you might think it does. The majority of the fan base doesn't mature, it dies off and a new nascent fan takes their place. Then they reach a certain level and die off.

This forum is filled with decade plus fans i suspect. They are rare and that is why EA isn't catering to us.

Actually got it for a birthday present. And even if I did pay for it it doesnt change the fact the blame should still be squarely placed on ea. You say dont buy the game. Most people do not get free copies. The only way to evaluate a game is alot of hours into it. That is a complete strawman fallacy. Thats like saying buy a car buy don't test drive it. Me giving my opinion helps others.

your argument is disingenuous. How are user reviews going to be made if noone buys the game and gives their opinion? Its well known gaming companies get paid to review a game favorably. Ea had 2 and a half years to get it right.

Man get the **** out of here.

You spent 2 1/2 years complaining about this game. Making statements about the things that needed to be in the game or you wouldnt buy it. You spent the last month complaining about the things they didnt add. But your silly *** either bought the game or asked someone to buy it for you...giving EA $60 bucks.

You couldve done a "user review" off of EA Access and given EA less than 10% of what you gave them.

                          But you couldnt.

People got on me because I called you a "Crackhead" a while back but again this is crackhead behavior. They ignored most of your "musts" and you still were eager as hell to give them your $60 because you need your MMA game fix....and then get mad because EA doesnt listen to you.

                          Unbelievable.

It wasn't that hard. Madden comes out in a couple weeks.

It isn't a forever thing. They can still earn money. They could certainly entice me with a few good DLC fighters and patch update to those shorts.

If not then I'll play Madden. Then NBA2K. Then MLB the Show. It's good to have other interests. Sucks this isn't the game I want but...oh well.
